Interesting how the different scenes tied together today – discussing the book The Scarlet Letter about a priest and woman having an affair, and pregnancy out of wedlock, to scenes between Nicole and Eric( a priest), then Gabi dealing with her pregnancy.
On a side note, when do all these women have time for a book club? And when did Hope and Billie become so chummy? I did like the idea of all those women interacting though!
November 21, 2012 at 9:53 pm #36547bluebonnetParticipanttoday was well-thought out and well-written; and, like you said, Goodolddays, the scenes tied together nicely. I liked the book club idea–something different anyway, and good to see the women of the show together in a way that they haven’t used before. I also loved the Gabi and Will scenes and the Nicole and Eric scene. Good show all around except that I wanted to put a muzzle on Sami for spilling Gabi’s secret to everyone.
P.S. I really think the actor playing Eric is doing a great job!

It was about Jesse Jackson jr resigning. It came on right at the beginning of the book club and came back after they were leaving
November 21, 2012 at 10:49 pm #36550BonbonParticipantwhen someone said something about discussing everything but the book. My book club does that at every single get-together. It sometimes takes us an hour before we get to the book. But it’s fun.
November 22, 2012 at 1:49 pm #36560SWParticipantbetween Father Eric and Nicole? When they were gazing at each other I expected a kiss at any moment!
November 22, 2012 at 3:07 pm #36562PattiParticipantThe co-mingling of actors, as well as the pace of the stories, are coming together nicely. I’m starting to enjoy the show more now. I’m loving the Gabi pregnancy storyline, which I originally thought I would hate. Camilla Banus as well as Chandler Massey are doing a great job portraying the angst that comes with an unwanted teen pregnancy. Plus, having Sonny and Nick involved in the cover-up is going to get a lot more interesting in the next few weeks, I’m sure. The Kristen/Marlena/John story is packed with devious plotting by Kristen and you just know sooner or later that Doc will wise up and deal with Kristen in the elegant way Marlena has dealing with psychotics, especially as she sees John and Brady falling into Kristen’s trap. ED is simply wonderful in the role of Kristen, playing the spider welcoming in the flies. Nicole is finally being given a break by these writers and finding Father Eric at this time in her life is just what she needs. I just hope she plays the part of an honest desire for redemption and peace within herself, and not a temptress trying to bed the good Father right off the bat. And Sami, most of all for me, is becoming watchable again in how she is handling everything, including herself …. at least for now. How soon E.J. and Chad will step in and make their moves is something I’m looking forward to as well, especially when Stefano returns. Kudos writers; I’m liking everything I’m seeing at the moment. Waiting now to learn how they are going to bring Caroline home without Bo.
