And yeah T i’m sure it’s beause he lied to him about it. he probably thinks Sonny was asking him as a date now. The whole show seemed to be fliier. how pathetic is R2. LOL he wants to talk just becuase he wants that woman. hahaha. what an idiot. I must say though Galen does stupid pretty well! LOL he better be up for an emmy!
I wonder why all of a sudden is Quinn telling Kate off and telling her to leave Chloe the hell alone ? Vivian doesnt want Chloe does she? They are after Carly. Ugh. Today was just a bad boring show. JMHO
July 18, 2011 at 10:04 pm #25291luckeyParticipantthere was a spoiler that said something about the Dimeras planting a guy in FakeRafe’s cell and kills him. After today’s show, it sounds like SPD found out about the plan and aborted it. Is that something of Dena’s storyline that was rewritten or is there another guy that’s going to be put in the cell and FakeRafe will still be killed?
July 18, 2011 at 10:56 pm #25293DeeLanParticipantYou know Stefano has more than one cop in his back pocket. It’s still going to happen and it will be before he talks.
July 19, 2011 at 8:40 am #25294PunkyParticipantIf Sami can be on death row and Hope can manage in prison then why can’t we see EJ and Stefano behind bars. What garbage!
July 19, 2011 at 2:05 pm #25298PattiParticipantnothing to do with Stefano or E.J. The guy who attacks and kills Robo-Rafe is someone from real Rafe’s past. Rafe put him away and when he was charged with "strike two", he knows that this time he will not get off. He thinks R-2 is the real Rafe and since he has nothing more to lose, decides to get his revenge on Rafe. He beats him to death (he’s a martial arts expert, of course) and that’s how Stefano and E.J. get off.
July 19, 2011 at 3:22 pm #25301mommytutuParticipantanother inmate is put in the cell who has a vendetta against the real Rafe. He think R2 is the real Rafe and kills him.
July 20, 2011 at 12:14 am #25306MimiParticipantI found it hard to stomach Sami’s jealousy towards Sofia and then the jealous fit Sami through afterward. It was like being in the room with another couple that is bickering, leaving the innocent bystander to feel that awkward annoyance. Why was that supposed to be entertainment??? Nonetheless, still loving the show, just happened to be a relatively uneventful day!
July 20, 2011 at 1:01 am #25307dvalParticipantwas just Sami’s old insecurities popping up. but at least now she knows how to deal with her feelings and discussed it with Rafe right away. I also find that it makes me quite insecure when I am with people who begin speaking another language ito each other, that I don’t know, in my presence. My brain always goes to that place that wonders what don’t they want me to know. And not for nothing, but that Sophia could make any woman insecure. She was quite attractive.
July 20, 2011 at 3:15 am #25308PattiParticipantnot only did they rudely decide to speak Spanish to each other with her right there, but they kept it up, including Rafe and Dario. It was one thing to be grateful to Sophia, but another thing completely to disregard the fact that Sami did not understand them, but mainly that she was not being considered 1) that Rafe is her husband, and 2) that she was the one who was victimized the most by that low-life, faux Rafe. And then the little innuendos were flying about her and Rafe being "so close" back in the day and the hugs and him picking her up in his arms, and the overly done dialogue in Spanish …. well, all I can say is if I were Sami, I would have been p.o.’d too. That S.O.B. sexually abused her on more than one occasion, knowing all the while that she thought he was her husband. I, for one, was extremely disappointed in Rafe today and think Sami was well within her rights to be ticked off at all three of them, including Dario, who also acted like Sophia was "more" than a "friend". Showed me that Sami was not only forgiving, but how much she really has grown. I felt sorry for Sami; but, at the same time, I was proud of her for not putting this woman in her place, "old" Sami style.
July 20, 2011 at 3:15 am #25309MimiParticipantI suppose the lack of empathy there came from my having an Eastern European husband with several (and yes some gorgeous) Eastern European friends! I personally don’t take offence to their slipping into their native tongue, just because I understand it is what comes most natural to them. I also feel quite confident that my husband is not trashing me lol. I suppose their recent situation would put pressure on the relationship as well though. Love love love Rafe as a husband, father and member of the Brady family. I know there are people that find their relationship boring but I love it!
July 20, 2011 at 3:15 am #25310DeeLanParticipantI agree. When I was working in Chicago 2 of our co-workers were from Poland and when we’d all be in the department break room they’d start talking to each other in Polish. One of the older women finally had enough and told them they were being rude and if they wanted to talk privatly they needed to go someplace else.
July 20, 2011 at 3:33 am #25311MimiParticipantHmm it’s interesting to see the different perspectives on this now. I’ve have been in Sami’s shoes and for me, I just see Rafe as this upstanding husband and father to his step-children so I didn’t feel his interaction with Sophia as inconsiderate or malicious. Sophia was more obnoxious on the other hand. She was great in her small role. I’ve been in situations where women prey on your insecurities, exactly as she was, but these types of women are often playing a game to pick away at you. As for having a husband that is bi-lingual, that is something that will come with the territory, and as long as you are married to someone who is considerate in keeping you in the loop when necessary (apart from times when they can get carried away lol), it shouldn’t be something that makes you angry. The key lies in the fact that Sami (like I) has a wonderful husband It seemed as if the character of Sophia was trying to make it seem like she knew Rafe better than his own wife. Luckily, our dear Rafe & Sami made it through ok
July 20, 2011 at 3:55 am #25312MimiParticipantPlus when a girl’s husband gets comments along the lines of "Wow, you got married?!" or "Wow, you had kids?!" a girl’s got to be kind of proud that she was the one to tame the stallion, no?? Sami is his one and only! Hey, an afterthought though…is that she was maybe feeling particularly insecure because wasn’t it revealed that Rafe didn’t tell her about that bimbo of Fake Rafe’s who showed up? Ok Rafe, smarten up and get back to your usual SuperMan/Husband/Father self!
July 20, 2011 at 11:45 am #25313annieoParticipantsince I’m pretty sure they just made up that story about her being Rafe’s FBI partner just a few days ago?!
July 20, 2011 at 12:11 pm #25314BonbonParticipantfor not immediately introducing Sami and Sophia to each other. Sami had to do it herself. I didn’t find the rest of Sophia’s actions that offensive and it was her who said they were being rude by speaking Spanish so at least she was considerate enough to stop. I thought Sami was just a tad overly sensitive, however justified by initially being ignored.
