Happy Anniversary to Days of Our Lives! Today is supposed to be the big day of the time jump. I am curious if it will actually happen today, or we’ll start Monday a year ahead.
November 8, 2019 at 7:20 pm #56442caseyParticipanttoday was a day my tv failed to bring in NBC!
November 9, 2019 at 2:52 am #56444doolfanParticipantI actually liked the way they handled the time jump today. Since it’s the show’s anniversary, bringing in the hourglass and Tom Horton’s " like sands thru the hourglass, so are the days of our lives" quote was a tribute to the underlying theme of the show.
I was happy to see Jennifer wake up after the time jump so we don’t have to go through another comatose patient story!!
November 9, 2019 at 4:00 pm #56447mommytutuParticipantI thought it was all done quite well. I love the suspense and the speed at which the show went. I thought for sure they’d leave us hanging about whether or not Eric found out about the baby.
I was also happy to see Jenn wake up and have Jack tell her she’s been in a coma for a year.
November 9, 2019 at 6:40 pm #56448DeeLanParticipantJack’s hair was a bit different and Jennifer’s looked longer as if they had changed over the last year BUT I have a problem with reality not being there. I know I’m nitpicking but if Jennifer had been in a coma for a year she wouldn’t have still been in a room at the hospital but in a long term facility.
At least we won’t have to watch the next 6-7 months of Kristen holding her belly. I just wonder if she really has changed for the better and how the rest of Salem is treating her now.
Also, who was the woman that Ben found on the floor? All we saw was a hand/arm but he said it was cold, we know that Ciara is still alive but Jordan is dead.
November 9, 2019 at 9:26 pm #56449PattiParticipantI thought it was done well, and the use of the hourglass that John gave to Jack was the actual beginning of the time-jump, and I really liked that. Now, all I have to do is get this Princess Gina over, done with, gone, and I might just stick around, at least through the end of the year, if for no other reason than to see how some of these sls will conclude and better Days are ahead. Fingers crossed!
November 9, 2019 at 9:30 pm #56450PattiParticipantwill be a ‘dead’ Jordan!
November 10, 2019 at 2:49 pm #56451TopazParticipantOur cable company (Spectrum) lost NBC for at least several hours on Friday but not until late in the afternoon, so I did get to watch DOOL. I’m in a suburb of Detroit.
November 10, 2019 at 3:36 pm #56452mommytutuParticipantI think we might have to wait for a Christmas miracle. Instill can’t figure out why we brought back Rolf and resurrected this Gina storyline. We didn’t even need Rolf for Jack to get his memory back. Let’s kill him off, please.
