but if they were there how weird was it that they weren’t in the room during the toast scene?

look old enough to be Nathan’s mother???  I mean he has to be 26 or 27 to be an intern and she sure doesn’t look …50?  How old were the girls when Mickey and Maggie adopted them?

…on this show.  I suppose she could be in her middle 40s and Nathan could have been born when she was 26.  That’s plausible.

It was good enough for me that they mentioned the other family members who we didn’t see.  I’m sure some of the actors were either unavailable or not interested in coming back, so the least they could do was put them "in the other room"!

I mean the actors don’t look their age!!! But that happens in real life.  My mom is 60 and you would never know.  Some people place her in her late 40’s.  So I never base anything on looks.

You wouldn’t believe how hard it was to get people to take me seriously in my job, especially when I was at new companies.  They all thought I had just graduated college when I had years of experience doing my job.  I had one guy on a train who was sitting next to me going from New York to DE ask me if I was going to college in NY.  I said no, I was up there for my company.  He goes, wow, your first job?  How exciting.  I said no, this is my 3rd job since being out of college – lol

So while I will love it when I am older, it has pretty much sucked the last 10 years.  It is getting better though, I look less college like now, so I don’t get those comments any more.  But people do think I am younger than I am.

I’ve been told that my whole life.  I wish it was because of something I’d done but it’s just my genes.  It was the same with my mother and my son.  I was talking to a man in the doctor’s waiting room last week and I told him my son just had his 51st birthday.  He said, "What?  You look like you’re 51."  I said, "I wish, I just celebrated my 70th."  (If only I felt 51!)

We used to have fun at age guessers at the fair because DH was prematurely grey and I looked younger, so looking at the two of us, they never knew which way to go and would inevitably get one of us very wrong.

I think Doug (Bill Hayes) falls into this category.  Who in the world would ever think he’s 83?

I’ve had the same problem.  Both of my parents died when they were 74 and neither were a bit grey except for some grey wiskers on my dad.  My mom had beautiful soft skin.  I was working at my job over 10 years and I’d get patients asking me if I was still in school, when I told them I’d worked there for 10 years they’d comment that I looked like I was 13.  My brother got the other end of the stick, even though his face looked young he was going bald at 18.

DH is almost totally grey but last year we went out with my nephew and his girlfriend.  My husband ordered a beer and the waitress carded him. He was 51.

Joe Mascolo fits into that category too… I believe he’s 80, about to turn 81.

I recall when one of his parents passed (in the last year or two), it was revealed that he is actually older than he’d claimed to be.  I can’t tell if the age I just found by googling is his real age, or the "younger" one… his parents both lived to be over 100, I’m not sure if one is still alive or not but one passed shortly after their 80th wedding anniversary.

    Talk about genes for longevity…

Melissa Phillips Anderson was born on November 4, 1971 (but turned 18 in 1985) to Linda and Jim Phillips. She took on the last name Anderson when Linda married Bob Anderson in 1978 and Bob adopted her.  2/14/86 Melissa and Pete Jannings got married.  Jennifer was born on 9/11/76 on Days, but celebrated her 21 birthday in 1991.

This would put her in her 40s, younger than Hope and closer to Jennifer’s age.
