Tonight the wind is howling pretty scary in the northeast, but just a remnant of those awful killer tornadoes.
Did anyone here live in the path of these?

we endured several close tornadoes.  To this day, strong wind really scares me.  I don’t mind thunder and lightning at all (rather enjoy it, actually) but I get pretty nervous when that wind blows hard.

I hope everybody made it though safe and sound.  It doesn’t seem to matter where you live, it’s always something, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, snow storms, drought, fires, land slides, you name it.  You’d think God must get mad at us sometimes.

I lived on the Southside of Chicago and we had many tornado’s touch around us in the suburbs when I was younger.  I now live in Alabama and we lived about 20 miles from the Enterprise tornado that took down a high school and killed students and teachers 5 years ago.  The last 2 days we’ve had tornados touch down all around us and warnings going on all night last night.   Since the Enterprise tornado they don’t just sound the alarms but they stay on TV pretty much the entire time and keep updating to warn people.
