Two random thoughts. Abby could have come home

 I’m sure there’s footage of Chad being at home during the time of Will’s murder.  Wouldn’t that be enough to exonerate him?

 I agree with Patti.  While I don’t understand killing Will off and I think it’s a bad idea I thought the murder was pretty creepy.  The lighting and camera work was different and interesting.  Seeing it happen from Will’s perspective and the aftermath, the fact that Ben seemed conflicted was powerful.  

I still wish they would just have had Will leave town.  He could always return played by someone else since no one seemed to warm to Guy.  He is so connected to so many people and was the first gay character on the show.  I just wish they wouldn’t have killed him.

I didn’t think it was that bad. Will did try to fight back, but remember he hit his head and was out before Ben started strangling him. Will was probably disoriented from that and it made it difficult to fight back. As for his Jesus on the cross pose, he was dead by then. I honestly couldn’t have expected more. It didn’t need to be as violent as Marlena’s attack because Will wasn’t conscious when Ben began strangling him.
