I so wanted to slap Theresa yesterday when she was spouting off to Brady that she knew what what it felt like yesterday when "that psycho Liam went after Daniel and Jennifer, and how for a while everyone thought it was her (Theresa), and airhead Brady replied "but they were wrong". Ummm, Theresa, did your selective memory forget that YOU WERE THE ONE WHO GAVE LIAM THE KEY TO DANIEL’S APARTMENT, or did you just choose to leave that part out???? Really writers? So this is supposed to be character redemption? Not in my book!

I don’t quite know when to believe she is sincere and when not because she’s like the girl who cried wolf. On the one hand we see her spouting off at the funeral, in the recent past has tried to use her son to get Brady and now she is all lovey dovey compassionate mother. I think we’re supposed to believe her today when she spoke of her childhood – like the writers are setting the stage for a reason for her behavior in anticipation of redemption – but I still cringe when I see stupo Brady falling for her again. But does he even know what he wants? I don’t remember his ever really caring for Theresa and certainly not the way he felt for Melanie.

Treating Marlena, the woman who raised him like crap when he was a teen, sleeping with Kristen, the woman who tried to kill Marlena, screwing up his marriage to Chloe with drugs. Then back on drugs having sex with Theresa! And after finding out what she did to Melanie and her assault on his own father, if he falls for her again he’s just a glutton for punishment.
October 7, 2015 at 1:03 pm #48839PattiParticipantthat’s the character’s history…and I finally see that it’s the way he was meant to be written and probably always will be written. These new writers are just following in the footsteps of all writers before them for Brady, and I wish they’d stop. Brady falls in and out of love so easily, and usually it’s with the wrong person; his lovelife always implodes or ends in tragedy, either on his end or on his mate’s; and he makes horrible choices, whether in life or in love, leading to destruction; it’s like he lives his life following Murphy’s Law….anything that CAN go wrong WILL go wrong. When I think about it, Brady Black is pretty close to being the male version of Nicole Walker, although I usually feel bad for Nicole…..Brady, not so much!

October 7, 2015 at 3:02 pm #48845PattiParticipantactually I would rather see Brady and Nicole find their way back to each other than Eric and Nicole.
October 7, 2015 at 4:23 pm #48849justwonderingParticipantI hav lost interest in Eric, He’s too wishy washy and judgemental
October 7, 2015 at 7:27 pm #48854PattiParticipantI love GV, but Eric far too boring for Nicole, IMO.
