Strangling victims would have been fighting back. There would be scratching on the attacker. That would leave forensic evidence. The writers of Days are totally ignoring this.
October 14, 2015 at 11:50 am #49003mommytutuParticipantWhen a crime scene is being investigated, the police rope it off and don’t allow everybody and their brother on the scene. At Will’s apt., everyone just walked right in. At Abby and Ben’s they were sitting having a conversation in the apt. and we didn’t get close to a police investigation. All I heard was Hope say we need to take lots of pictures.
October 14, 2015 at 12:42 pm #49005caseyParticipantin the SL for me – this juvenile and inept “investigation.” Like what would Chad’s motives be for these killings. Will? Really?? This attitude by Abe and Justin that any Dimera must be evil and is immediately guilty is so unpro and insulting. And the ohso obvious evidence – anyone could see setup.
October 14, 2015 at 2:29 pm #49007PattiParticipantwas Will’s, and it was very evident from watching it that Will was trying to push or shove or maybe even dig at Ben’s face as some sort of defensive move. However, that was after he was slammed head-first into the refrigerator or table or whatever it was, so I can imagine he was already unconscious when Ben began to strangle him and only came to when he actually was being strangled. Not much time for him to try and get defensive. Also, the other two murders and Marlena’s attack came from behind, so how could either Serena or Paige even get to their attacker to leave any scratches? Obviously, Ben overpowered all of his victims way before they had any chance to defend themselves. There’s always an explanation of some kind, and I could easily buy that theory.
But I agree that DNA at least should have been found at any of the crime scenes. Skin tissue from the tie, especially since we plainly saw that Ben didn’t use gloves when he killed Will. Ben’s DNA should also be all over Will’s apartment when he trashed it. The bag he threw in the river would have Ben’s DNA on everything in it as well as the trash bag itself. Maybe that will be found at some point, I don’t know, but Will’s murder and Will’s apartment should be where Ben’s DNA should be easily discovered. Ben was completely masked and gloved in the others.
October 15, 2015 at 1:34 pm #49020BonbonParticipantWill did not hit his head on the refrigerator. I went back and watched it in slo-mo. He actually hit it with his hip.
October 15, 2015 at 1:44 pm #49022PattiParticipantextremely hard, which obviously knocked him out cold until he felt Ben strangling him.
October 15, 2015 at 2:53 pm #49029trykeryderParticipantNot only did anyone and his brother walk into the crime scene, but there was no police guard and the door was OPEN.
October 15, 2015 at 3:05 pm #49030bluebonnetParticipantwere free for the taking or at least for examining. Will’s tablet was just lying there. Seems like the cops would have taken in for evidence much of the items lying about.
October 15, 2015 at 3:18 pm #49031PattiParticipantespecially when Rafe already told Hope that Will was not killed there, but somewhere else and his body was placed there, and the crime scene just didn’t fit. That apartment should have Ben’s fingerprints/DNA all over it.
October 17, 2015 at 2:10 pm #49063BonbonParticipantHe was totally conscious when Ben started choking him. In fact he was grabbing at Ben’s hands around his throat and looking right up at him.
October 19, 2015 at 7:11 pm #49109GoldenDaysFanParticipantBen and Will were frineds; you would expect Ben’s fingerprints and dna to be all over the apartment. On the necktie and under Will’s fingernails is where they should look for DNA.
