Vilifying

Doesn’t anyone find it a little odd that they are vilifying characters that are no longer that way anymore? Like Will, for instance. When Will came back from L.A., it turned out that Sonny thought he came back for him. Wrong. He turned into mini-Stefano. Destroying people. Paying Derrick to seduce Paul, getting a shrink free publicity in a novel by getting him to speed-fixing his marriage. I’m jumping time. Now: when they had Beyond Salem, protecting a source ended up saving the world, & Sonny believing Will’s cheating again. Now, what I’m getting at is that when Will’s monstrous behavior came to an end & he came & went, meaning, when he Sonny had Chad to seduce Leo. Then Will comes back yet again, for when he learned about Sonny’s stabbing. They vilify him again. By having him throwing his husband away, just so they can have Sonny falling for Leo.

Why is there a need for it?

Like Bonnie. They vilified her when she couldn’t win when it came to Kayla & Steve. All because the writers had to kill Adrienne off, then they play up everything Adrienne happening to Bonnie. Meaning, Calista showing up blackmailing Bonnie over the death of her husband, then playing up Bonnie crying outside of Julie’s pub for Justin to hand her a hanky, etc etc. Then they keep her as Bonnie for this story line involving Ava & Xander abducting Susan. Was it a wise move to kill Adrienne?

Then vilifying Xander by having him doing this as to what Ava wanted out of him. Then they have Gwen cover it up by putting up a fake webpage for a fake job that he never had. When they have shown that Xander being worthy of Sarah.

Then Gwen: Look as to how she got out from under her sins. Now, they have her & daddy expose Chanel as a murderer by putting into the Salem Spectator of what Sloane had stolen from Paulina.

I get the stories being necessary. But look at where the ratings are because of DOOM & GLOOM being AD NAUSEUM.

The only reason as to why I’m still watching is because someway somehow, this DOOM< GLOOM & MISERY has to end, don’t you think? & it better happen fast.
