Is it just me or is this the most mixed up wedding ever? Philip is in a tux, but all the other men are in suits. The bridesmaids have beautfiul, formal floor lenght dresses and the bride has on a simple dress that looks like Lingerie. THe "mothers" have on street lenght dresses. I don’t know what the name is for this wedding other than grab what’s in the closet (except for the bridesmaids!!)
February 12, 2010 at 3:27 pm #10464IzzyBParticipantThe outfits don’t go together like the Bride and Groom don’t go together
February 12, 2010 at 8:09 pm #10469TopazParticipantKate’s skirt should have been one size larger–it’s all wrinkled from being stretched so tightly.
February 12, 2010 at 8:15 pm #10470Ms. JakeParticipantPhillip and Melanie are so mismatched! Melanie is on my last nerve…She ‘s been after Phillip since Stephanie first went out with him. She clawed her way through thick & thin to get him…then stumbled upon Nathan, liked him too, and played both. So NOW after planning a wedding with Phillip,on her wedding day, she decides to send a note to Nathan claming she still has feelings for him and if he feels the same, he should let her know!!!I mean c’mon girl! Make up your mind!
February 12, 2010 at 9:35 pm #10475BonbonParticipantHave you ever been to a wedding where the person officiating walked around as casually as Abe did today? (I am unaware that a mayor has the authority to perform weddings.) Very different/weird/unusual/strange.
I was also surprised we got no explanation why Mel passed out. We didn’t know yet that Victor had replaced the comb. Oh, sure, we surmised it was because she hadn’t eaten but how did she recover so quickly? Brady must have shoved a power bar down her…and an extremely fast-acting one at that.
February 13, 2010 at 12:00 am #1048153tdogsParticipantMel/Phil/Nath/ (and Steph probably too) story line is going to go more – not just a triangle but an isosceles triangle!!! It’s going to be so convoluted it’s going to make us dizzier than Melanie was before the wedding – and then wait…I predict she will get preggers and then – guess what story line we will have??? A "Who’s the Daddy" SL – Nat or Phil??? Oh Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
February 13, 2010 at 12:04 am #10482PurpleLady49ParticipantAn ISOSCELES triangle is still just a triangle!! 3 sides…no more!
February 13, 2010 at 12:07 am #10483PurpleLady49ParticipantOOPs…that was supposed to be in response to pammydog!
February 13, 2010 at 3:13 am #1048553tdogsParticipantthat in an isosceles triangle, two sides are of equal length. An isosceles triangle also has two congruent angles. An equilateral triangle is an isosceles triangle, but not all isosceles triangles are equilateral triangles. And don’t even get me started on 45-45-90 or Pythagorean triples or Fibonacci. That’ll teach me to watch "Day’s" and ROFLMAO about the wedding story and comment here at the same time – I was trying to be facetious. Silly, silly me.
February 15, 2010 at 3:24 am #10518lynnekarenParticipantIn New Jersey a Mayor can officiate a wedding. I was just a MOH in July where the Mayor did the wedding.
February 15, 2010 at 12:28 pm #10521BonbonParticipantSee, you learn something new every day. Thanks for the info.
I just checked the law in Florida and a mayor can only perform a wedding if he is also a Justice of the Peace. Maybe that mayor was also.
February 15, 2010 at 12:40 pm #10522PattiParticipantwhere the person officiating walked around AT ALL…..EVER. I mean, who does that? Abe looked SO ridiculous in those scenes.
February 16, 2010 at 7:54 am #10536PurpleLady49ParticipantYou are tooooo funny!! Geometry was my favorite of all the math classes in HS….good to know that after 40+ years I can still "do the math"!!! You are totally forgiven…I’m thinking the relationships are forming a very strange quadrangle…perhaps even a trapezoid!!! LOL!
February 16, 2010 at 12:04 pm #10537BonbonParticipant…a duodecahedron! (Did I spell that right?) I probably shouldn’t give the writers any ideas or they’ll probably take a stab at one.
February 16, 2010 at 3:20 pm #10543PattiParticipantthe "shape" (pun intended) of things to come from this wedding, I can only still wonder …….. who in the HELL were those people in the back row? I can see filling up a church with ‘extras’, but this was a private resicence, and there, sitting behind Stefano, Kate, Victor, Maggie, and maybe Will and Mia, sat at least 4 or 6 actors I have never seen before. Talk about too funny … that was hilarious to me.
