Am I wrong or didn’t Eli and Loni set their wedding date for July 4th. I remember Abe saying that he won’t have to be performing the other mayoral duties and Eli saying they could tell their children that the fireworks were for them.
Are they planning on dragging this day out til next week.
June 27, 2020 at 2:29 am #57221bluebonnetParticipantThey seem to be off a week. Kayla said her wedding was next Friday, the 10th, so that one is off, too.
June 27, 2020 at 3:05 am #57222DeeLanParticipantThat thought did cross my mind but can’t figure out what put them off a week but know things will be off with the coronavirus
June 27, 2020 at 1:16 pm #57223mommytutuParticipantNBC had Wimbledon scheduled in June. Wimbledon was cancelled so all of the shows are airing several days ahead. I don’t think the 4th will be dragged out a week. There is supposed to be one wedding a week on Friday, but it looks like the timing is now off because coronavirus. I wonder if August will also be off. The Olympics were postponed so is the show going to continue airing new shows or do you think they’ll air some repeats.
June 27, 2020 at 9:49 pm #57224midwifemamaParticipantThey could show the new shows a few days a week and use the other days to show some of the good old Days

June 28, 2020 at 12:03 am #57226Jason47ParticipantThe weddings will all be airing on Tuesdays instead of Fridays due to the French Open being postponed. So the weddings should take place on Tuesday 6/30, 7/7, 7/14 and 7/21 (which was the Olympics 17-day cliffhanger). With no Olympics, the 17-day cliffhanger should now air just 24 hours later on Wed. 7/22 (instead of Mon. 8/10).
June 28, 2020 at 3:38 am #57227doolfanParticipantJason with all these preemptions cancelled, when do you think Days will run out of original episodes?
June 28, 2020 at 1:51 pm #57229mommytutuParticipantMaybe start with the very first episode. Or they could do some of the most memorable weddings on Days. That would be fun too.
June 28, 2020 at 1:53 pm #57230mommytutuParticipantAre they going to continue with that schedule of shows? At this rate Halloween will be the beginning of October and Christmas will air at the beginning of December.
June 29, 2020 at 12:21 am #57232Jason47ParticipantThey have enough episodes to last now through around October 6, give or take a few days.
June 29, 2020 at 12:23 am #57231Jason47ParticipantWith the shows moving up almost 3 weeks, they will run out of new episodes around the second week of October. There’s nothing official set in stone as of yet that I know of, but the show may try to do something to account for the holidays moving up 3 weeks. They’ve already written through New Year’s Eve, so that may entail re-writing almost 40 episodes to fix the airdates for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

June 29, 2020 at 3:30 pm #57234rfsextonParticipantWho would have anticipated the world would be shut down like this?
My mom and I have only ventured out to pick up her meds. What can come via US mail is either picked up at drive through for CVS or curbside pickup for WalMart.
At least Days has an abundance of episodes to keep showing.
Any idea when they might start filming again. I don’t know how California is doing. I know in my county in Texas we have had a huge spike after leveling off.
July 1, 2020 at 4:20 am #57235doolfanParticipantThanks Jason!
