Eric & Nicole’s wedding is so PATHETIC! There are 2 relatives and 6 strangers…..and her dress is so plain! I expected a little better than that.
There were like 2 guests at Kayla’s. I understand if the whole cast can’t be there, but seriously……it’s laughable.
July 15, 2020 at 2:43 pm #57276rfsextonParticipantWelcome to the new world we live in due to the Cornoa virus.
July 15, 2020 at 2:51 pm #57277mommytutuParticipantI told my girls, Days must be on a super tight budget. Nicole is a designer or something for Basic Black. That dress she wore was plain and ugly! Lani’s dress was ugly, too. And who the heck were the strangers? They couldn’t have had more Bradys there? Whatever happened to the days when the weddings were big and the dresses were too? This is not corona related. These shows were taped in December and January. They could have done so much better!
July 19, 2020 at 3:25 am #57280bradysgmaParticipantThe writers knew there was going to be a messy cake fight so they dressed Nicole accordingly.
July 19, 2020 at 2:18 pm #57278mommytutuParticipantIn January or possibly December. No coronavirus as we know it, to speak of. There’s no excuse, they cheaped out.
July 19, 2020 at 2:19 pm #57282mommytutuParticipantIn a summery, white sundress. It would have been much prettier than the nurses uniform they stuck her in.
July 22, 2020 at 11:35 am #57287PattiParticipantI’m beginning to consider more and more each day that the powers that be, i.e., Corday, Sony, NBC, etc., are trying their damndest to make soaps so bad, from the writing to the acting to wardrobe, to actors leaving and not being replaced, etc., etc., because they know soaps are a dying genre and this is their way out of having to invest good money after bad ratings, and just shutting them down completely…..and soon. The surprise for me is that I find myself not caring, more and more, if they are finally canceled altogether. Sad!
July 22, 2020 at 10:04 pm #57295JSLParticipantSo how was it that they had Ben & Ciara’s wedding in a catholic church and Julie was able to be the one to marry them? It has to be a priest in a church.
July 23, 2020 at 2:38 am #57298doolfanParticipantIt was nice to see more of a typical Salem wedding, in a church, with guests, and everyone dressed up. Hope and Marlena’s dresses were very nice.
July 23, 2020 at 2:40 am #57299doolfanParticipantGood question. I guess details aren’t important in Salem lol.
July 23, 2020 at 10:49 am #57302midwifemamaParticipantthe building is The Church of the Angels in South Pasadena, CA an Episcopal Church. It was used for Hope’s wedding to Larry Walsh, the one where Bo took her off on his motorcycle. My wedding was there 32 years ago. But if they are calling it a RC church, Julie would not be allowed to officiate.
.
July 24, 2020 at 2:23 pm #57312mommytutuParticipantThe Bradys were Catholic. That church has always been billed as a Catholic Church on the show. I agree, Julie should not have been able to officiate, if that was a Catholic Church. I don’t know about Episcopals, but can anyone perform a wedding in an Episcopal Church?
July 24, 2020 at 3:12 pm #57313midwifemamaParticipantOfficially in the Episcopal Church the weddings are performed by a Priest or Deacon, but often if non-parishioners/non-Episcopalians want to rent the church, they could bring their own celebrant, but that may vary with the diocese.
July 24, 2020 at 7:59 pm #57316DCola522ParticipantVERY disappointed in the lack of attendance at these weddings. Having the strangers there just makes it even more noticeable.
July 24, 2020 at 10:04 pm #57317JSLParticipantSt. Luke’s has always been a Catholic church on this show.
