are you ready for some head-to-head football? With my Ravens playing your Bills tomorrow, I’m looking forward to an exciting game. The Ravens are slightly favored, but, as I know from our past history, the Ravens have seen more than their share of losses on the road.
September 28, 2013 at 11:42 pm #41208caseyParticipantI see Buffalo as having little or no chance. Aside from rookie QB, two of the biggest guns on defense are missing and afterall, you guys ARE the defending SB champs!
I just hope the Bills make it a game. So far all three have been close. But I think your defense will be a bit too much for rookie Manuel to figure out.September 29, 2013 at 2:29 pm #41212PattiParticipantand that’s right up to date. I think the odds-makers feel with all the new people the Ravens have this year, coupled with the loss of so many of our star players, that we haven’t proven ourselves to be the same team we were last year, and frankly we’re not, but we’re meshing better as a team each week. Incidentally, I think the Bills look pretty good this year for such a young team.
September 29, 2013 at 8:41 pm #41216caseyParticipantSo sorry Patti for you, but I’m sure you’ll give my Bills props for this victory. Oh happy day! They held the Ravens to just 24 yards rushing – incredible! And four interceptions!
Kind of foolish penalty by Suggs at the end for coming after the QB when he was ready to kneel down. The Ravs would have had like 20 seconds to try and get a last minute field goal.
But today was Bills day and such a wonderful surprise.
Patti, I bet anything Baltimore will bounce back next week.September 30, 2013 at 3:53 pm #41217PattiParticipantyour team beat us fair and square, and the Bills deserved the win. We played our game and we lost. I had a feeling after the first half we weren’t in the game. I told you I was impressed with the Bills, and they proved my point today. Joe Flacco and our weak offensive line were my biggest disappointment today (4 interceptions??). Don’t know what happened to our offensive line to our defense for that matter. They just didn’t show up to play today, but the Bills’ did an exceptional job and that’s all that counts. Congrats! I told you, the Bills are impressive this year, so don’t give up on them. It’s a new day and a new year!!!! (Hope you’re right about our bouncing back, though), Congrats again!!!!
October 7, 2013 at 1:27 pm #41268PattiParticipantbut the fact is, we’re going to have to rebuild before we regain any titles this season. Honestly, we’ll be lucky if we make it to the playoffs this year. The way things look, this is the year of Peyton Manning and the Broncos — and if they keep playing like they have been playing through week 5, they sure as heck deserve to win it all!
October 7, 2013 at 2:34 pm #41271caseyParticipanteven for Peyton! This has to be his SB Victory year. If not, it will take the tarnish off his incredible career; no matter how well you play, you are always going to be defined by how many championships you win.
Ravens still have a good record, so wouldn’t count them out yet. And alas, just when my Bills look like they would have something this season, it’s now the walking wounded in too many skilled positions. When you’re down to your third string QB, it doesn’t look good.October 7, 2013 at 3:47 pm #41272PattiParticipantthe killers of good teams. I still could not help but feel so sorry for Tony Romo and the Cowboys yesterday. How do you score 48 points and lose? Must have been tragic for Dallas fans.
