We obviously know he’s a thief. What is his motive? Is he just a scum? Or is there more to his story?
I don’t trust him at all, and I agree with Hope that Julie is too trusting of him. He might not even be related to Doug at all. I definitely think there is more to his story. I wish Eli would come back on the show and solve the mystery. Or JJ for that matter. I love those actors and characters anyway. Good thing Jack and Jennifer are staying in the house right now to keep an eye on Julie, but I bet they don’t stay long. Maybe they will at least stay until Chad gets home.
I too am wondering if he’s even related to Doug. Just seems odd that he shows up and the first thing he does is steal from Doug’s widow. Does he think this is owed to him? I don’t trust him and I’m not sure if this story is going to be one that holds my interest.
I agree with all that’s been said. I don’t trust him and tend to believe Hope and Jennifer’s instincts. It’s too coincidental that his name is Doug Williams and he’s been released from jail, just like his supposed grandfather. However, he hasn’t learned anything from his experience since he right away steals the necklace.
Now that Ciara opened the box, it’s leading to another story. I’m glad Days didn’t ignore the box. Maybe a few more stories will originate from its contents.
