bring T back? That was the most dispicable thing a person who supposedly has been your friend forever to say to him. I don’t understand the reasoning for this. Is it to throw Will into Sonny’s arms? I’m not sure I like where this is going.
August 21, 2012 at 12:08 pm #35096caseyParticipantwhat I had hoped from the new regime. Maybe it will be a bullying SL. Or unless we’re in for a surprise and T will turn out to be gay!
August 21, 2012 at 12:39 pm #35097PattiParticipantsupposed to be directly about T or Will or Sonny. What I believe it’s supposed to be about is gay bashing. I think the actor is good and plays the role well. And, after all, it is something you see every day where homophobia is concerned.
August 21, 2012 at 2:20 pm #35104trykeryderParticipantNow, would that really be a surprise? It’s been speculated from the beginning of the SL.
August 21, 2012 at 2:34 pm #35105cjwestParticipantThe actor is doing a great job, with more to come. He’s been away a year and picked up right where he left off. My analysis, his comments about how family/ friends think about you behind your back is going to affect Will when he is kissed by Sonny. He comforts Gabi, has sex , and then what, she is maybe pregnant , and then he returns to Sonny. Classic soap scenario.
Yes, it is possible T is a closet gay or at least hates gays because of his own personal mixed feelings. Common among homophobes.
August 22, 2012 at 4:31 am #35123TimParticipantI would hate to see them make Tad gay, although it looks that way sometimes. I really think he’ll end up beating up/killing Sonny just as soon as Will realizes he has feelings for him and acts upon it.
August 22, 2012 at 3:21 pm #35153justwonderingParticipantIt is somewhat unrealistic that EVERY member of Will’s family would be so understanding and accepting of his lifesyle announcement. Yes, Roman and Sami were upset at first, but jumped in line rather quickly. Most families have a long and hard road before acceptance. Some never do.
It is possible that deep down Will feels that what T said has some truth to it, being that they are supportive to his face but really upset behind his back. maybe , Will also feels that this is something that he can control and change. After hearing everything T said to him, I can understand him going to Gabby.
August 22, 2012 at 3:52 pm #35155IzzyBParticipantI don’t know that it is unrealistic. I had an employee work for me who was gay. His one side of the family is VERY religious and the other side not so much. He came out when he was pretty young (junior high/high school) and most of his family said they already knew and the rest came around pretty quickly. I mean he is the same person they have known their entire life, why because now he comes out would you not accpt it. If one of my children came out I can tell you right now my entire family would have no issues with it. We are a very tolerant family. I see the Brady’s as a tolerant family. I mean the things they have seen in their lifetime makes them that way.
Roman had issues, but he is getting over them, which is realistic because he is a man’s man being a cop and all. But I think it was well written.
August 22, 2012 at 8:17 pm #35159DeeLanParticipantWhen my brother came out the family did accept it. My parents had a hard time with it but always stood behind him and his choices. It was something that wasn’t talked about openly as any problems my parents, especially my mom, had were kept in private. I’m sure my brother picked up on it though.
