Some snow storm when there absolutely no sign of snow anywhere!!! LOL. I mean come on people. And then there’s carrie and Austin sitting outside eating breakfast! LOL. I can’t believe they were eating! they never usually show people eating on here.

November 9, 2011 at 8:10 pm #28496goodolddaysParticipantSeriously, a blizzard that shuts roads down, and not a SPOT on the ground, trees, buildings, anywhere? At least try to be a little realistic!
November 9, 2011 at 9:49 pm #28504trixiebeldenParticipantI thought that was weird, too, but on one of the episodes, someone mentioned how nice it was that the horton plaza was "indoors" or safe from the weather. That was news to me, I had thought it was an outdoor space, especially with all the trees. I am not sure how it is an indoor space, maybe mostly covered areas between all the stores? an outdoor strip mall with a roof?
November 9, 2011 at 10:36 pm #28507caseyParticipantsomething about a dome – maybe Jennifer? Which was weird because I was under the impression initially it was uncovered.
November 9, 2011 at 11:02 pm #28509SWParticipantI was always frustrated to see the flakes the shows used and how the actors always look gorgeous coming in from the snow. I look worse than a ‘drowned rat’ and no offense meant to the rat but it isn’t pretty! lol Then the other part where the people are out in the snow with flimsy clothes and they don’t shiver or anything!
November 9, 2011 at 11:09 pm #2851053tdogsParticipant"freezing" and here Nicole, Brady, EJ and Madison are running around in "the buff" and not one goosebump among them when the heat has been off for hours and snow is "piled" up to the roof??? These people are eating their Wheaties for sure!
November 10, 2011 at 2:26 am #28517SWParticipanttiny clump on a small bush! When we get a major (no driving type) incident, the snow is up to the door and covers the trees! That looked like what a southerner might call a major storm but it sure isn’t the northern version of one!!
November 10, 2011 at 3:20 am #28519majencoParticipantIt was Sami and she remarked how great it was that they built the town square like the superdome with a retractable roof. Silly throw away explaination for why everyone will be running around there all winter long.
November 10, 2011 at 5:20 pm #28539trixiebeldenParticipantoh, i did not hear that part, that is utterly ridiculous. retractables are expensive, I can’t imagine any business scheme where the cost for it would make sense. Not to mention the permanent part of the supports and roof taking up space that could otherwise be used for more shops. I guess the horton foundation did not need it to make sense, lol. (i live in the seattle area, with a retractable roof for the mariners.)
November 10, 2011 at 6:12 pm #28540BonbonParticipantbut I do remember her saying it was enclosed.
I thought they goofed for a minute when Brady (or Dan) said it was good to get outside but then I figured they had been running outside and just came in from the piles and piles of snow they must have been running in.
November 10, 2011 at 6:48 pm #2854353tdogsParticipantleaving the DeMera’s – and could hear her highheels click on the sidewalk, not a snowflake there at all…and yes, I live 40 miles from where the "Donner’s threw their Party" in 1846 and baby it snows there big time!
