Just finished watching Thursday’s show and I swear the dialog, the music, the acting, the ice cubes, etc. all looked like they were from a bad porn movie–if there are such things. I assume all porn movies are bad as far as acting goes. My gosh it was just awful! I had to FF through most of the show. That’s not writing, so these guys better get it together before they lose their jobs!
The best implied sex scene ever was in "Urban Cowboy" when "Bud" leaves the bar with "Pam". They go to her place in Houston, they have a drink, and she opens the door to the bedroom where there is a saddle all set up. She smiles and closes the door, then the scene fades. It’s nice when the writers/directors let us use our imaginations.
I’ve always liked Debra Winger as an actress. I believe she may be one of the most underrated in the biz because she was never flashy, never a bimbo, never a Hollywood star stereotype. There is a strength and at the same time vulnerability in her performances and she never comes off as fake. I wish she had done more films.
