A foreshadowing or just something to throw us off? I think Days is determined to keep us guessing on the killer right up to the unveiling. Enjoying trying to figure whodoneit.
when he attacks Marlena; and yes, it’s a man. Unfortunately, he is wearing a mask, so though we see him, we still don’t know who he is.
if the show is dangling the obvious to us. Her dream to me is that she’s still in love with Chad and then woke up and cried to Ben that "he" left her and the baby. To him, she meant Ben, but I took it to mean Chad.
are going to "reveal" the killer to the audience? Do you know if we will we see his face soon after or is that all they are going to reveal to us for a while? Hmmm. Seems like if the man is attacking Marlena, that would rule out Eric, but maybe he is still secretly mad for her playing that video of Kristin and him at Brady’s wedding.

you will see the promo video for next week showing the beginning of Marlena’s attack. The killer looked pretty with some upper body strength. Of course, it could be the clothing he’s wearing. And right, she is not killed. I think it takes place in her office, and Chad surprises the killer and he gets away and again manages to save Marlena’s life. So, I am going to assume this puts Chad in another poor light with the Salem PD as well as Justin in suspecting Chad to be the SK. I think that’s when he is arrested, because Marlena will think it was him.
he is wearing a ski mask! The real reveal when we, the audience, will know who it is is supposed to be shown in November, I’m betting during the bi-centennial celebrations.
I would not be the least bit surprised if his mind hasn’t snapped, but I agree finding it hard to believe he would attack Marlena. The killer, supposedly, is one person with no copy-cats involved and we will know who it is in November, but not the good folks of Salem. I’m just adoring the new writers’ work. So many people I love involved in so many stories. This serial killer is supposed to lead into a very large umbrella storyline before he is caught, because it will affect so many people. Loving this!!

So if Chad is arrested, then another murder happens (unless he is released on band which I doubt w/two killings) he’ll be off the hook?So TPTB are certainly upping their game by teasing information that isn’t quite true! The killer will be revealed -only to have the face masked!! I have to give it to them they are definitely drawing attention to the show as the increased ratings indicate!
and recants her accusation that Chad attacked her. The killer attacks her from behind, so she never sees his build, possible height, weight, etc., and she loses consciousness. When she awakes, all she sees is Chad attempting to revive her, so it’s natural she would think he was the one who attacked her. I don’t know if Chad is arrested or not because of Marlena’s attack, but it would not be a surprise if he was. To many coincidental situations putting him in close proximity with the people attacked. I’m thinking this is when he does decide to go on the run.
I’ve (and apparently many viewers) have been longing for. How the last team thought their SLs were must see tv is beyond belief compared to what we have now. The key will be if they can keep up interest followng the serial killer SL.
where he stated that he always wanted to write for DOOL; that he especially loved the sls from the 80’s and 90’s, and that this is why he did his homework and we are now seeing the truly terrific sls we are seeing today, going way back into the way these stories began. Terrific writing. I don’t know how much Dena Higley is involved, or whether or not she is back from her leave of absence, but I’m quite sure a majority of the material we are seeing today is due to Griffith’s influence.
