April 14, 2015 at 11:47 pm #5761Patti ParticipantI think the reason Kristen made Clint draw blood from both Brady and Theresa was not a question of paternity at all. I think something is going to be wrong with him, and she’s going to have to have the blood tested from both parents to find out how to save him. When Mandrake told Kristen today that he was waiting for test reports to determine the baby’s health, it was clear to me that the child is going to have a medical problem. Kristen now cares more about the baby than she does for Brady, and she’s not about to give that child up to either Brady or Theresa. April 15, 2015 at 3:09 pm #47032casey Participantthe kid (did they mention the gender?) will need something specific from a bioparent (ala bone marrow). Although that shot looked pretty healthy! April 15, 2015 at 8:14 pm #47033justwondering ParticipantTHe baby is a boy and his name is Christopher. The docter said that things were ok now and there was no immedater danger.Kristen mentioned what the child had and that he needed bone marrow transplant April 15, 2015 at 10:47 pm #47039Patti Participantcalled combined immuno-deficiency disease, but that it’s cureable through bone marrow transplant. I guess after both Brady’s and Theresa’s blood samples were tested, it was determined that Theresa was a "perfect" match for the procedure. If she thinks she’s hated by everyone in Salem, she ‘ain’t’ seen nothin’ yet!!! April 16, 2015 at 6:07 am #47042Bonbon Participanthe would need a stem cell transplant to survive. The disease is also known as the bubble baby syndrome because they have to be kept away from anything he can catch because of his lack of immunization capabilities. So, I guess saying a bone marrow transplant would be somewhat correct. That sure is a sweet baby and so calm. I wonder if it’s the same shot over and over that we are seeing of him. I also wonder if there is any significance to her naming him Christopher. I can’t think of any characters in the past that could have prompted it. I’m surprised she wouldn’t have named him Brady. April 16, 2015 at 10:28 am #47043Patti Participantafter herself. It also wouldn’t surprise me if she spells it with a "K", like Kristopher — would that be the male derivative of "Kristen?"
