That’s another open question, how did Gil Carter’s fingerprints get on the bloody book? It was never explained. It was such an important finding since it got Gabi out of jail and Melinda used it as leverage against EJ.
To me, they need to go back to it again, & play up that Gabi was the one who planted Gil’s print on the tome, the reason is with how they have Li dead, & now Trask, Connie’s next victim would be Ava & getting rid of her & allowing Gabi to down for it because Gabi now knows about Ava & Stefan’s affair, & have Connie to make the tome to reappear & putting Gabi’s prints on by way of scotch tape, so there for Kristen’s family business is all hers with Ava dead & Gabi back in prison again. I hope that they go there. Any Takers with this?
Was Gil dead when Gabi walked in or was he not there yet? I swear, none of this story makes sense to me. The timeline is so convoluted.
Gil was killed before Li was. The reason being is because that’s the only way for Gil’s print to be on that book that was soaked by Li’s blood. So Gil was killed first. But the problem that I have is that if Gil was killed before Li, then explain as to me as to why it was allowed to allow Gabi, Li, Tripp & Wendy & Ava to still live there, remember, all of them were still living there before Tripp & Wendy want to the Far East, heck that was even before the both of them were abducted & taken to that brewery. See my point? Yes, granted it was in self-defense, but was it, given that it was only Ava’s word that it was, she can’t prove it now can she, given who tried to attack her was done in, right?
I thought we saw a memory from Connie seeing Gil come in to the apartment. I think Gil did grab that book from Li. Maybe Gil had blood on his hand too. I just wish they would re-show things so I wouldn’t have so many unanswered questions.
the problem that I have is that Li never had that book, remember it was found soaked in Li’s blood & there was no narrative to play up that Li’s prints were on the book, because the only prints on it was Gil’s, that’s why the judge dropped the charges on Gabi. I think that once Gabi had heard from Li that he shares are phonies, she came over, shivved Li & fled, then whoever had found Li’s phone, had Gabi to come back the apartment, saw Gil’s dead body, she moved the body & put Gil’s print on the book & fled, then when she remembered the knife, she went back into to take away from the crime scene because prints were on it & when she took the knife out of Li, was when Stefan had found her removing the knife from Li’s back. He got rid of the body, then with how Gabi had left Gil’s print on it, she & Stefan had allowed Rafe to present it to the judge to have Gabi’s charges lifted & they have no clue that Gabi got away with it & no one knew that she was the original killer, see my point now?
This is definitely one of those storylines that was started with the scab writers then went sideways with the regular writers. It is not a cohesive storyline and I think it has left so many of us with so many questions.
I agree. I doubt they’ll answer the unanswered questions. Days is just moving forward with Connie’s current escapades-I just hope they end it quickly.
They’ve already embarked on new storylines with Fiona/Brady, Sarah’s paralysis and who hit her, and the big surprise on Friday Dr Greene being “Abagail’s” accomplice.With Trask now a prisoner, & that Bobby/Everett was done in, & with how Trask’s message to Ava didn’t go through, I have a feeling that Ava is going to be done in next by Connie, leaving Gabi all alone, she may have Kristen, but with Connie, she would easily get rid of both Gabi & Kristen. Brady gets custody of Rachel, given that with how he has no car, they can’t press charges on him regarding Sarah’s accident, he would take Fiona down to get out from under everything & EJ would go back to his old CEO position. So the question that I have is why Trask survived what Connie had done with that tea, especially given that there was a need to get rid of Bobby, there’s a necessity to have Connie to get rid of Trask. Think about it, does Connie really want to risk having Trask to free herself & tip Ava off as to who’s holding her hostage. With how Connie managed to get rid of Bobby, she is certainly capable in offing Ava & Trask, right?
