Did Hope and John get those "spy" clothes and all that equipment at the local Spys R Us store? And Hope dresses all in black but leaves that huge sparkly necklace on? Well, every self-respecting spy must look fashionable, right? (Do you think it’ll be Stefano who turned on the light and caught them? I do.)
Then, Bo practically jumps out of bed when Lexie de-fibs him? A little overacting there, Beauregard. And they really ought to have the rails on his bed up. If he should fall/jump(!) out of bed and get hurt, there’d be a huge lawsuit.
And why did Will meet Lucas at Sami’s place instead of his own apartment. Of course we know why, they don’t have a set for it but still, that was a little curious.
When will I quit worrying about all this stupid stuff and just swallow it like they want us to do? Oh, well! Fodder for new posts.

March 14, 2012 at 3:13 pm #31763PattiParticipantBoth John and Hope KNOW that Stefano is watching their every move, yet the only means of communication is their computer. Doesn’t her e-mail work? And, even more unbelievable, they haven’t figured out that Stefano has a means of seeing everything that Hope is pulling up on her computer, so yes, I think when the lights went on, it will be Stefano, because he knows their every move, and I’m sure Hope’s computer was bugged. This is such poor writing …. it’s been nothing but the storyline to nowhere …. same thing day after day. BORING is putting it mildly for me.
March 14, 2012 at 3:56 pm #31769MoGirlParticipantI was in the ER with someone once and saw the another person get revived with the defib several times and it was bad……the man yelled when it hit him and he jumped. I was stunned and someone from the hospital said it is not always like they show it on TV .
March 14, 2012 at 3:57 pm #31770bluebonnetParticipantmust be staying at Sami’s place. Don’t know why, but from things they’ve said, that seems to be the case. Plus, he said something about taking care of the kids while she’s gone.
March 14, 2012 at 4:09 pm #31772BonbonParticipantto defib someone who is not unconscious. In fact, if you need defibrulating, you probably ARE unconscious. DeeLan?
March 14, 2012 at 5:04 pm #31778NoraParticipantI agree that this stupid Alamania story is BORING!!!!! I laugh every time they say Alamania. LOL. It’s just hilarious. Why is it Alamania if Stefano owns the country? The only story I’m remotely interested in is Will and Lucas and marlena, where has she been by the way? I’m sort of interested in the whole Abby Austin fiasco. I’m hoping Melanie helps her friend by realizing she needs help, which ithnk she already knows that Abby is alittle delusional. I’m glad melanie is trying to talk some sense in to Abby. I really don’t feel one little bit sorry for carrie. If Austin hadnt seen her kiss rafe then he never would have gotten drunk off his ass.
March 14, 2012 at 5:56 pm #31781DeeLanParticipantUsually when you see it done in an emergency it is done on someone who’s unconscious but if it’s an elective procedure then the person usually comes in awake and they sedate them. When I worked in the hospital the docs would call us to come to the bedside and anesthesia would be there with IV sedation and they’d shock the person. This was usually a patient that was awake and alert. We had to be on hand to start CPR in case it backfired and actually put them into a more dangerous rhythm or stopped the heart completely.
Not all cardiac shocks are defibrilliations. That’s only if they rhythm is atrial or ventricular fibrilliation When it’s another rhythm they call it cardioversion even though it’s the same thing.
Don was in atrial flutter and the doc put him on blood thinner for several months until the blood levels were where they wanted them. Then he was admitted as an outpatient, they used IV sedation and cardioverted him into a normal rhythm. He’s since gone back into the atrial flutter and they’re just leaving it and he sees the cardiologist every few months.
