I know they have been saying that she is upstairs or in the kitchen of the Pub; however, we don’t even get to see her say "would you like some clam chowder" anymore. If the show is going to have extra’s running around, why not someone we know and love? Sure wished that Caroline would have a story line where Victor’s feelings that he’s had for her for all those years would surface once again – (and now that Shawn has been gone for awhile now), that Caroline would be receptive. And then have Vivy get all upset and go after Victor – but Caroline wins! And Viv is out on her keister once again – maybe bounce back to Stephano and then Kate and her go at it!
January 22, 2010 at 8:05 pm #9910BonoSugaRayParticipantsort of wondering the same thing! Where is she?! I’d love to see her reaction to what’s going on betwixt Bo, Hope and Carly.
January 22, 2010 at 8:32 pm #9911GoodyParticipantCaroline must be very disappointed and heart sick over this latest problem for Bo and Hope. Too bad that Bo doesn’t confide in his Mom and seek her good common sense. I wish we could see more of her.

My guess would be that it’s Caroline’s choice not to appear. And they wouldn’t use her as an extra because she’d cost a whole lot more than a non-speaking part.
But, yeah, I too would like to see what she has to say…to both Bo and Hope, AND Carly.

January 24, 2010 at 2:45 pm #9961luckeyParticipantimportant character to have interacted with Maggie at the time of Mickey’s death. Who would have known better the loss that Maggie was enduring than Caroline? These writers are missing the boat big time in many instances. I realize that budget concerns are top priority, but it’s become a major insult to the viewers. Bringing back Vivian couldn’t have been cheap!
January 25, 2010 at 4:38 pm #9983IzzyBParticipantIt might not be the writers fault. Sometimes they can’t get the actor or actress for that show. What if the actor is sick or not feeling well? When they get this up in age, you never know what the reasoning behind them not being onscreen.
January 28, 2010 at 1:27 am #10049majencoParticipantI actually work with a relative of Peggy and she is not ill and I think she’s interested in more of a storyline. Who knows why they aren’t taking advantage of it.
January 28, 2010 at 1:52 pm #10055PattiParticipantso I can’t believe they aren’t using her in the Bo/Hope/Carly triangle, especially now that Bo has decided that he wants, or at least THINKS he wants, Carly. Caroline should be there to show the love and wisdom of a mother’s love (even if she does not support his decision). Peggy is a fine actress and can wear many masks. I love it when she gets mad, and I think this is one situation where she would be royally pi$$ed at both Bo and Hope; not because she believes they are destroying their marriage, but because she might believe they are hurting Ciara, which they are. But, I suppose Peggy is the unfortunate victim of another vet thought of as ‘out of sight…out of mind.’
January 28, 2010 at 4:09 pm #10057GoodyParticipantIt is hard to believe the writers are leaving Caroline Brady completely out of this. I think she might have a few words of wisdom for all involved.
