     Where is JJ? Why did he go to Africa?  Is he off the show or only temporary?

    for his Grandfather’s, Bill Horton, funeral.

    He chose to leave months ago. He will not be returning when Jennifer and Jack come back. Abby will also not return until May, because she signed a contract for a certain amount of episodes and her final departure has to coincide with Chad’s. They leave this summer, I think.
