I don’t get it. Wasn’t she the one who kicked JJ out of the house? I remember that she supposedly called everyone including Jack’s family to tell them not to take JJ in. She decided suddenly that tough love was the way to go. She knew he would have no place to stay. So now suddenly she is concerned? What did she think would happen? I don’t get the pining away just wishing she knew where he was.

If she takes him back, will he change and do the right thing? Hell, no, he won’t, because he uses people, especially his family, to get what he wants. I don’t think she’s being a bad mother. I think she loves her son. I believe at long last she’s doing the right thing — but, we’ll see. When he goes off the deep end when he finds out about Jack raping Kayla, I still think he will look at everyone and everything through a new set of eyes. If not, send him packing! JMHO!

She really felt that JJ would come hom when he realized he had no where to go. Since the weather is getting colder, she felt sure he would come back and ask her to let him stay. I truly feel that was her plan and hope. She didn’t expect him to be so defiiant and stubborn. JJ is alike like Jack–when things don’t go his way, just leave–Jack has done that repeatedly.
His memory of his dad is so one sided that it doesn’t occur to him that like all humans, Jack WAS NOT a saint. He feels that his mom and to some extent his sister are being disloyal to to his dad. What he doesn’t get is that life goes on, and they must move on as he should also. The past cannot be undone, and he must learn to deal with it.
However, he will continue to spiral downward as his memories of his dad are shattered. Ironically, Jack would be the first to drop JJ for his attitude toward Jenn. Jack would never approve of JJ’s actions.
