What’s with the attitude on this guy? He acted like Sonny was a bother, not his husband. You’d never believe he was a newlywed and I think Sonny should dump him. Of course, this is a setup for the Sonny/Paul hookup that’s coming.
But ever since Guy took over the role he’s been a very moody, often snarky character.I tried, I gave him every chance, I really wanted to warm up to him, but he’s just yuck! I just can’t enjoy him. I was hoping he’d be gone for good.
I always try to give a recast the benefit of doubt; however, I just can’t enjoy Guy in the role of Will Horton. His mannerisms are unbecoming, especially when he purses his lips in what many refer to as "duck lips." Hits home with me, plus I just do not see any chemistry between Guy and Freddie at all. Now the actor playing Paul works well with Sonny, so it looks like a much better connection for me. I would not be disappointed if Will and Sonny were replaced with Will and Paul. Sorry for Guy, but he’s just not Will for me.
draw you in. He’s very cool and distant. But again, look at the lines he’sbeen given making him quite unsympathetic and selfish and defensive. I’d like to see how Guy would portray Will if he reverted back to the character we first saw. That lip thing though does not help. But I’m still not sure if it’s the actor or the character or a combo that makes Guy off-putting. I so enjoyed the special chemistry between Chandler and Deidre – that’s what I most miss.
