I cna’t believe that Will would go along with saying Nick is his baby’s father considering that he went through almost the same thing when he was little and thought Austin was his dad because of Sami’s lie.
December 1, 2012 at 1:12 am #36667majencoParticipantI agree. This does not jive with the Will that we have known. I don’t think Sonny would hold the pregnancy against Will. He knows Will was confused and worried about coming out. I would imagine he will be way more upset about the deception. But then again, That’s probably the whole point of all this.
December 18, 2012 at 9:09 pm #36857Misty004ParticipantI have to agree this is pretty lame…..Will would never agree to his child being raised by Nick…not with his upbringing. And Sonny would understand…this happened before him and Will were an item.
December 19, 2012 at 3:29 pm #36867justwonderingParticipantDOOL has always had trust issues. Secrets and lies have ended more relationships than anything else. Secrets ALWAYS come out and they ALWAYS lead to troulbe for the secret keepeers.
it is kind of ironic because everyone was worried about Sonny brfeaking Will’s heart when it will be the other way around.
December 19, 2012 at 3:38 pm #36868PattiParticipantit wouldn’t surprise me in the least if they did another paternity switch storyline here, since everyone is growing more suspicious now. Rafe has to know that Gabi would not have slept with Nick one day after he was released from prison; Hope is skeptical; Will knows the truth but is willing to hide it from everyone; and Nick certainly knows his way around a lab. If someone like Chad or Sonny or maybe even Abbey start putting their heads together, I can see Nick changing the paternity test if one is called for. BAH, HUMBUG!
December 19, 2012 at 10:34 pm #36870dvalParticipantI do believe there is a spoiler on Days Cafe to that effect, something like Nick is not above switching test results. So, yawn, here we go again. Why can’t they just once let the story play out with just the few key players knowing the truth and then eventually letting it come out in a big way to the rest of the players?
December 20, 2012 at 11:21 pm #36880DeeLanParticipantYes, and I’d be happy if it took YEARS for the truth to eventually come out. Not keep it front and center but always in the background waiting to explode one day when everyone least expects. The way they did with the Mickey, Laura, Bill, Mike storyline. Only Bill, Laura,Tom Horton and the viewers knew the truth.
December 21, 2012 at 8:57 am #36882BonbonParticipantstoryline. We, the viewers, knew that the truth would never be known and it was not done by occasionally hitting us over the head with it. I think they tried to do that same thing again with Victor and Bo but, CMIIR, we never did see Caroline and Victor together. It was all done way after Bo was a man. But it did work. But seems like now days they act like we’re all second graders and have to shove every single thing down our throats so we’ll "get it."
Let’s keep this Naby baby secret from everybody until s/he starts college…or even beyond. BTW, when is Gaby going to tell her family?
December 23, 2012 at 4:11 am #36899bradysgmaParticipantthat Nick & Gabby could raise the baby as their own unless & until he/she would need some medical tests or surgery that would require blood types or medical history, etc.
December 23, 2012 at 9:24 am #36904BonbonParticipanthow it will go. I don’t know why Nick doesn’t just legally adopt the baby. That’s the only way he will actually become the father. Although I’m not sure Will would go along with that. It is really a sticky situation for Will no matter what they do.
December 23, 2012 at 4:30 pm #36908justwonderingParticipantIf Nick and Gabby are married when the child is born, the child is legally Nick’s, so there is no need for adoption.
I can understand why Gabby would like this because it is easier for her and the child.
December 23, 2012 at 5:27 pm #36909luckeyParticipantall he would have to do is submit to paternity testing to negate Nick as the father, right?
December 24, 2012 at 3:39 am #36913DeeLanParticipantI like this. I know I keep going back to Mike Horton but if I remember he was hit by a car or had an accident at the farm and needed blood. That’s when it came out that Bill, not Mickey was his father.
December 24, 2012 at 3:40 am #36912DeeLanParticipantRight, that happened with Claire when they found out Shawn was the father.
The thing is though in Salem people change their names over night without any legal intervention and they accept long lost parents and siblings without question or needing psychological help.
December 24, 2012 at 11:36 am #36916BonbonParticipantAdopt the baby. Yes, it is legally NIck’s once they are married but if he adopts the baby, then it’s his and Will can’t claim it later. I think at this point Will would do that. Later, who knows, he could change his mind and want to raise him himself.
