It’s been mentioned on the show that Tammy Sue (aka Jordan) was five years old when her dad either died or disappeared. Her mom then married Clyde and they had Ollie (aka Ben). Ben was 16 when Jordan took him and ran away from home. I think Ben was beaten as a teenager by his dad, Clyde.
I probably got mixed up with their ages, but I still think Clyde has more than a step-fatherly interest in Jordan, and that’s why she’s so petrified of him, along with the fact that he physically abused Ben. Honestly, I hope I’m wrong about Clyde sexually abusing Jordan, but sometimes the way he looks at her and how petrified she is of him so much as touching her makes me wonder if I could be correct in my suspicions.
