Thank God for Lucas!!!!! He is the ONLY one that has brought up that Ej forced Sami to sleep with him to help save lucas’s life!! Don’t go Lucas! he Finally got the Salem brain!
September 5, 2012 at 6:13 pm #35398MKParticipantI can’t wait to watch this today and hear Lucas say that! I couldn’t stomach yesterday’s scenes with Sami and EJ. I just kept thinking not only about EJ raping Sami, but about what he did to Rafe and being responsible for Sami being raped by FauxRafe. Yes, FauxRafe didn’t force himself on her, but by pretending to be someone else is rape, and EJ is responsible as well. So this "thing" Sami has for EJ is sick, IMO.
September 5, 2012 at 6:25 pm #35399goodolddaysParticipantdon’t forget kidnapping their daughter and making it look like she was dead………
September 5, 2012 at 6:59 pm #35401luckeyParticipantafter the whole FauxRafe thing was found out, that’s one of the first things that Sami screamed about…that Stefano and EJ had her raped by a stranger who she thought was her husband. I know soaps are notorious for sexual exploitations; however, for me, it’s unconscienable for Days to continue to write Sami as someone who "forgives" EJ for the horrendous attacks that he has perpitrated against her. It reflects on the writers as being unsympathetic to women who have gone through these types of awful acts in real life.
I, too, was loving every word of Lucas’ dialogue with EJ; however, EJ was as smug as ever with his "so what" kind of attitude. That’s a character that will never ever be redeemable in my eyes. The day he’s written off the show will be one that will make my day! Stefano too.
September 6, 2012 at 1:50 pm #35418mommytutuParticipantI can’t stomach anything between thes two. I get physically ill when they are together. Obviously none of he writers for Days, ever, know what it’s like to be the victim of a sexual assault. Otherwise they would quit pairing Sami and EJ. he is a rapist, faux Rafe was a rapist and the only man on this show who has never used Sami for sex or to get someone else or get back at someone, is Rafe. Sami is too stupid to see who the only trustworthy man is and the writers are to stupid to realize the viewers hate EJ.
September 6, 2012 at 5:01 pm #35425BonbonParticipantHold on there. Not ALL the viewers hate EJ. I think there are a lot of us out here who like him, despite his faults. It’s like, Hate the sin, not the sinner. :o) In fact, between EJ and Nicole, I’m not sure which is my favorite on the entire show.
September 6, 2012 at 11:39 pm #35434rfsextonParticipantI have never liked ej and would love for him to leave the show in the most permanent fashion possible.
September 7, 2012 at 12:46 pm #35437luckeyParticipantphysically sick reaction whenever EJ is on screen. I recall when he first arrived in Salem as the supposedly successful race car driver, EJ Wells. His character turned me off in a second and has continued ever since. Even though I know this is only a TV show, it is still disconcerting to me how this character…after the horrendous acts he committed…has fans who really like him. I know you have to have protaganists and antagonists in any story; but, the unconscienable sexual attacks that EJ has been a part of against Sami, are not something I can just ignore. That’s just me.
September 7, 2012 at 2:18 pm #35438PattiParticipantbecause he surely is; but the character has so many unattractive personal faults besides being a sexual tease with women, which he truly is whenever he does things like constantly nuzzling their neck, or rubbing his body up against them, completely ignoring that his advances are unwanted at the time. He continually invades their space until they simply give in; that’s just being abusive. I have seen this too many times to count with both Sami and Nicole, and/or anyone else this character has been with intimately. He’s like a preying mantis. Also, E.J.’s mannerisms are a turn-off for me, from his snarky, cocky attitude, to his condescending way in which he speaks to anyone, right down to the sound of his voice itself, which has always been like nails on a chalkboard for me. He’s so damn smug with everyone he comes in contact with. Unpunished crimes aside, the man’s personal habits when he is seducing any woman puts him close to an abomination for me ….. other than that, I will admit, James is a good lookin’ guy as well as a good actor. That’s why I’m so glad to see he’s the one who will be chasing and hopefully wind up being rejected by Sami this time around. She really needs to get this guy out of her system for good. She already does enough damage to herself; she doesn’t need any further help from E.J.
September 7, 2012 at 3:57 pm #35439daysfanParticipantCount me as another who gets physically ill whenever EJ is on screen. Two words out of his mouth and I have to hit the FF button. That’s why I never watch it live any more; I’d have to change the channel while he was on. But I must say, I did watch the scenes with him and Lucas. Go Lucas! It’s usually when he’s with Sami that I can’t stomach it.
September 7, 2012 at 7:50 pm #35440BonbonParticipantmakes him a pretty good actor. I keep in mind that he is only playing a part and doing it well…he MUST be to make people dislike him so intensely.
September 10, 2012 at 1:52 am #35441luckeyParticipantof EJ that are very disturbing to me; especially, his invasion of personal space when it comes to females. From my former work in investigating sexual harassment claims, I know that’s a form of sexual harassment. As for James Scott being attractive, I don’t find him to be at all. He’s too effeminate for my tastes and is too skinny. I like a man to have a body more like Rafe’s…not so tall and lanky, but more solid and stocky. No personal offense intended…just my taste in men.
