At least it was not boring!
November 8, 2012 at 8:36 pm #36308dvalParticipantto see today’s show. Pretty exciting, all right. I can’t say I totally feel sorry for Nicole’s present situation especially since she pretty much admitted to Daniel that she DECIDED to pin it on Jen since she was jealous of her but, as always, I thoroughly enjoyed Ari’s performance. And I did want to give Abby a round of applause when she blasted Brady for believing her mother had to be guilty. At least he had the good grace to look chagrined, even though I do believe he was still feeling sorrier for nicole than for what he said to and about Jen.
November 8, 2012 at 9:47 pm #36310NoraParticipantI agree, I posted on the annex board how I actually enjoyed today’s show. Loved nicoles scenes, they did that very well with everyone in the room finding out at the same time. I’m glad rafe went over to her and hugged her. I don’t think Brady will turn his back on Nicole because he was with her the first miscarriage. But i could be wrong. I feel sorry for Nicole too. I mean good greif how much can she take?
November 8, 2012 at 10:43 pm #36315caseyParticipantfor her, let’s not forget she pinned this on an innocent person who had to go off in handcuffs to jail and would have stuck to it had not Dan bargained her out of it. Except for losing the baby Nicole has only herself to blame for constantly lying and manipulating her way into trouble.
November 8, 2012 at 10:56 pm #36316NoraParticipantShe didn’t really do anything illeagel though did she???
November 9, 2012 at 4:11 am #36318caseyParticipantagainst the law?
November 9, 2012 at 4:58 am #36320justwonderingParticipantIf I remember correctly, Abigail also thought her mother was guilty at first. I thought Abigail went to far in her tirade. Nicole was in a state of shock in losing yet another child. As for she and her mother grieving over Jack, jen has moved on in about one month!!
The show was moving today at blazing speed, lots of action. Great job.
November 9, 2012 at 2:23 pm #36327MKParticipantI could barely watch Abby today and all her yelling. I actually fast forwarded her a bit. I guess I should be on Jen and Abby’s side but I think with Jenn’s behavior of late and butting in where she shouldn’t, got on my nerves. Though I believe that Nicole blaming Jenn was wrong, at least she took it back (even if it was for selfish reasons). I can’t help feeling really sorry for Nicole and actually am on her side. She lost yet another baby and right before her due date! She was phenomenal yesterday. I think it’s her acting that just pulls me in (not all of the time, but a lot). Hey, it’s a soap so we can absolutely love the bad guy if we want.
November 9, 2012 at 2:36 pm #36328BonbonParticipantagainst the PD. I don’t know what the formal charge would be called but, yes, what she did by falsely accusing someone of murder is definitely against the law. Obstruction of justice maybe? That one covers a lot of things.
November 9, 2012 at 2:51 pm #36329PattiParticipantunless they change the character dramatically after this storyline, Nicole Walker has always been a plotting, revengeful, manipulating, vodka swilling villain, and her crocodile tears did not penetrate with me. Don’t get me wrong, AZ did a fantastic job, and yes, I may have felt a tear come up into my eye during her rant, but she threw as much manure at Jennifer as Jennifer threw at her. Also, she knew she was a high risk for even carrying that child, yet she continued having sex with Daniel whenever and wherever she could. Maybe that caused her placenta to burst, who knows? She purposely sought to grate on Jennifer about "her and Daniel" every time she was in Jen’s presence, knowing it would bring out Jen’s claws and they would wind up in a huge argument; maybe not all the time but certainly enough times that I can remember; and finally, yes, she planned to send Jennifer to jail just to get her out of Daniel’s life, and it would have worked like a charm and her and Daniel would be on their way to Hawaii if he had not sought out and found Dr. Sedwick, who enlightened him to the truth.
As one can probably tell, I have never been a huge fan of Nicole Walker. Now, Ari Zuker is another story. If that woman doesn’t receive an Emmy for this performance, no one deserves one, because no one in soaps could have given that quality of a performance any better. Beautiful job, Ari. I’m sure by the next couple of weeks, Nicole will have forgotten everyone and everything that she caused to herself, cuz Father Brady will kiss it and make it all better.
November 9, 2012 at 7:40 pm #36345justwonderingParticipantyes, it is very obvious that you distain Nicole. But I have a different take for Nicole. Being abused by hr own father at an early age, Nicole learned to be hard in order to take care of herself. So even though she has done many bad things, there is just something so vulnerable about her that makes me ympathize for her. She has been through more heartbreak than most people can ever endure, so I guess I cut her some slake.
For me, Ari has made Nicole a likeable villain, in that she has a good heart who wants more than anything to be loved and wanted. But she always find herself on the losing end. Victor has reason to hate her, she tried to kill him. Jen did as many hurtful things to Nicole to stress her pregnancy. As far as Daniel, they haven’t been together for months, so I doubt it caused any damage. Maggie also doesn’t like her, so she really has no friends.
Ari was fantastic and yes I feel for Nicole. I don’t think she is any more revengeful or manipulating that anyone else on the show.
November 9, 2012 at 10:12 pm #36348BonbonParticipantMy thoughts about Nicole exactly.
November 9, 2012 at 10:22 pm #36350GoodyParticipantyou expressed my feelings exactly. Very well done. Thank you.
