Considering a rather big guy whaled on his face twice. No swelling or bruising.
December 31, 2010 at 12:07 am #19527jesigirl22ParticipantBut isn’t this the transplanted face? Wouldn’t something have shown? I am not a doctor (and don’t play one on TV either), but shouldn’t his face be a bit more delicate or fragile due to the surgery that the writers seem to have forgotten about. I could be wrong, as I have no experience in the area of transplants, but I just thought………
January 2, 2011 at 9:24 pm #19638majencoParticipantYeah Daniel almost broke his "new" old face!
January 3, 2011 at 4:22 pm #19651mommytutuParticipantI’m sure the writers forgot that they gave him a new face. Bet the face is his and he has his two orginial legs.
January 3, 2011 at 9:01 pm #1966453tdogsParticipantand send the writers some kind of computer history program that when they write something weird, (ahhhhh, that is almost every day now), that it will POP up on their screen and "remind" them that they can’t do that! This way they don’t have to drive us all crazy with rewritten, rehashed and absurd "history". "LIKE IT NEVER EVER HAPPENED" … Oh yes, it did!!!!!
January 4, 2011 at 4:29 pm #19701zsuzsaParticipantThey replace actors all of the time, and they don’t have to use such convoluted stories to cover for it. We out here in TV land do understand, after all, that they are just actors. And it seemed even less necessary since it was the actor most connected to the role returning. I remember thinking that if they ever decided to use flashbacks, the silly face transplant wouldn’t make sense, since it would be Jay in the flashbacks. Now, here they are using flashbacks, so I guess they’ve forgotten (and we’re supposed to, too!) about the new face!
January 4, 2011 at 8:40 pm #19715SWParticipantand ended up watching to see how it compares with now. Carrie/Austin had gotten married and Sami (a teen?) had just returned from Rome chasing C/A and trying to break them up. Sister Mary Moira was getting even with Sami for saying she wanted to be a nun. But the best part was little "Elvis" being held in mommy Susan’s arms. Yup, he was only a few months old! lol Sami being a teen and him being a baby was too funny! Stefano had jet black hair too! Oh the fun of old shows.
January 5, 2011 at 12:24 am #1971853tdogsParticipantjaded with those kinds of stories that you mentioned SW – I actually sat on the edge of my seat every Monday through Friday enthralled with what was going to happen next! I couldn’t wait to get home from work and turn on the old VCR to watch back in ’97…ahhhhhhhh, those were the good ol’ days…!!!!!
