I thought the show was really done well yesterday. Loved the pace and the way that things are finally falling into place. Anyone care to discuss, or has everyone simply given up and stopped watching? I can’t believe there is not one post here. Anyway, for what they are worth, here are my thoughts:
1. Loved Daniel, Jen and Parker. Finally, I could enjoy them without interference from Chloe or Nicole or Anne or anyone else having to do with them in the past. Now, they truly are tolerable, and I find myself rooting for them once again. Yes, Chloe is Parker’s mom, but clearly she needs help and I think they went the right way with her storyline rather than killing the character off. Parker is such a cutie-pie, and he’s getting more vocal every time he’s on.
2. Nicole/Eric/Vargas – Finally, it begins. The Ericole shippers must be ecstatic, since it is obviously the beginning of Eric’s reawakening, or I should say ‘realization’ as to whether or not he became a priest for the right reasons, and finally deciding that he was upset with Nicole, and rightfully so, but it was for the wrong reasons entirely.
3. Brady/Kristen – I see a whole new break in this story with Ciara now having the infamous photo. Will she take it to Brady? Will she give it to her mother and told her she saw this lady with Brady? Will she return it to Kristen? Whatever, I do see Kristen developing real feelings for Brady, but it may be too late.
4. Stripper storyline is getting interesting now it looks like super-biotch, Anne, is going to get caught in her own trap, and for me it couldn’t happen to a better witch. Love how everyone came together to set her up for the fall, especially Maxine. Can’t wait for today’s scenes. Too bad Chad won’t be in that stripper line; after all, he’s 50% responsible for Cameron’s bootie being saved.
Now if the writers can just get John Black back on track (boy, that’ a lot of rhyming words) with Marlena. She should have been helping him through this ordeal all the while. This is not the John Black and Doc we have known for so many years, and I’m actually fearful that they might be out soon if they don’t fix them.
So, don’t give up, I have a feeling things are going to heat up pretty fast in the next week or two.
April 24, 2013 at 7:18 pm #39406mommytutuParticipantI’vebeen working a lot, I substitute teach. I have to spend all weekend catching up. I did see yesterday’s show. Loved when they set up Ann! I hate that woman. Agre on all your points!
April 24, 2013 at 7:54 pm #39407dvalParticipantthe endless Dannifer on again/off again wore us all out, LOL. Hope that issue is resolved because I don’t think I can take that again.
I agree about yesterday’s show. It was very well done. And I loved seeing everyone pull together to put Anne in her place, too. I just saw a rerun of Legally Blonde (well almost the end, actually) and caught the actress in the graduation scene.
I am so torn about Eric possibly leaving the priesthood. I think the actor makes a great priest and it is nice to see a younger man portraying a member of the religious. I hope when he finally decides against staying in the priesthood it is written as being because he feels he entered for the wrong reasons and not just because of Nicole.
And to be honest, I think Nicole and Vargas are pretty darn hot together. Too bad he is such a baddie, LOL, but then Nicole wouldn’t be interested in him if he wasn’t. I hope they don’t turn Eric’s character into something else altogether just to accomodate Nicole’s needs.

I thought the strip show was done well, and was glad the guys kept their jeans on. To me it made them twice as sexy. Loved the awkwardness of Rafe, but boy, SC really looked like he knew what he was doing. Brady was cute as can be in his cop get-up. Heck, I even liked Kristen today, and that’s saying something for me. Loved when she told Brady they need to put a pole in their room. Cracked up when she told Anne, "we’ll get you, my pretty," and everyone else chimed in with "and your little dog, too."
I didn’t think it was offensive at all to see Caroline there having a good time, all for a good cause (right). I’ll bet Peggie had a terrific time filming those scenes.
I can honestly say I can take Jennifer and Daniel the way they are now as opposed to all the day-in/day-out drama that have been their lives these past many months.
GV is doing a wonderful job with emitting Father Eric’s angst in these scenes, and I thought Father Matt’s words to him were totally believable. But, I agree, I hope Eric stays a priest. I don’t mind Nicole with Vargas one bit. I would rather see Vargas turn over a new leaf for Nicole than to have Father Eric fall from grace.
Everything about today’s (Wednesday) show was pure WIN for me.
April 24, 2013 at 10:19 pm #39409caseyParticipanthaven’t been able to watch much the past two days. I hope everyone is right and this show is moving along at last.
April 25, 2013 at 1:49 am #39413dvalParticipanteveryone was on top of their game…Maxine, Caroline, Sami, Kristen, Rafe, Brady, Dan, Jen, Cameron, Abigail, Vargas, Nicole and Eric….just terrific. I’ll get you my pretty…priceless. And Anne getting her comeuppance in advance knowing Jennifer is getting her job back made me smile quite broadly, LOL. I wish they could keep up this style of writing instead of it being a once in a very rare blue moon episode.
I loved seeing Caroline having a good time. Sami and Rafe not quite sure of how to be with each other was very well done. I loved Kristen and Brady..well everyone was terrific. and I thought it was kind of neat how they intersected what was going on with Vargas and Nicole and Eric and Fr. Matt with the strip show. I just loved the whole show. First time in a while I didn’t feel like looking away.
