and today’s show was another winner. Kudos Josh Griffith and Dena Higley, who was still here when these shows were written 5 months ago. Her absentee shows will not be seen until she actually took her LOA, which will probably come sometime during February sweeps, which is when we should see Griffith and Millstein’s writings….then, for how long thereafter is anybody’s guess.
Getting back to day, all I can say is James Read is one fantastic actor. Granted, the character of Clyde Weston is a real low down dirty dog, but JR is wonderful in the role. If there’s one thing that can be said for Clyde, is he makes both Stefano and Victor look like the last two members of the Over the Hill Gang, and I am really enjoying him for however much longer he is here.
Poor Chad is really being set up by someone, and I’m not sure who yet. I really don’t think Clyde or Ben is the serial killer, but they may be taking advantage of trying to make it look like it was Chad. The second victim is claimed by the killer on September 8th, and I’m betting Chad will still be a suspect.
Love Caroline’s instincts and dreams about Bo being in trouble. A mother just knows, right? Will Steve get some bad vibes from Aiden, or does he just not want Hope to move on from Bo?
Poor JJ is being set up big time. I don’t believe Clyde killed Kyle at all; I think they just made him believe it happened that way. I think they want to see if JJ runs to the cops. I think Klyde is alive and JJ is so afraid for Paige and his family that he’ll play right into their hands, and that’s when Paige will pay the price. But, we’ll see.
Boy, Justin is going to make a great D.A., but please let him get a grip on the real Eve Larson and keep an eye on her. I need someone to find that bug she put in Jennifer’s house and can’t believe it’s right out in the open like that and no one’s spotted it. Just like the one Clyde put under the table in the DiMera living room. Guess Mary or Harold don’t clean under the table tops.
I need Nicole to buy Basic Black, and give Theresa and Kate both the big "screw you" two sign. I don’t want Nicole having anything to do with these two losers, especially Theresa. Who would be stupid enough to give her a job in the company whose former owner she tried to murder with a fire poker, and then again smother him with a pillow while he was in a coma that she put him in???? Wait ….. Brady???? And Kate needs some comeuppance for bringing Dlyde to Salem, so she needs to take a seat and her punishment and all will be right with the world for me where Kate Roberts is concerned.
Great show, Josh and Dena —- keep up your fantastic work!!!
September 2, 2015 at 8:27 pm #48220caseyParticipantis the best baddie we’ve seen here in awhile, but I did read somewhere he might be leaving? Let’s face it – Vic and Stef talk the talk but are essentially paper tigers these days. I love Clyde’s take action style and he plays it deliciously without going OTT. He will be difficult to replace unless Andre is up to the task. And will Ava be a villainess? – spare me!
All I can say about BB is it seems money will talk and if Brady dontates to the cause Theresa is in. I’m sure Kate will be also. Maybe it will turn out Theresa does indeed have fashion talent.
Bo even if held prisoner is still unrealistic. Like no one in high places wouldn’t know something happened to him and his mission? But I’m sure we’ll get an explanation.September 2, 2015 at 9:54 pm #48218bluebonnetParticipantpoints, especially the one about James Read. What a great actor! Since they are not going to keep him on the show, I wish there were some way he could come back to the show as another character. Think Chris Kosichek/Roman and Bonnie/Adrienne.
September 2, 2015 at 10:18 pm #48221PattiParticipantI don’t know his exit story yet, but he will be gone around late October, early November. That’s what I’m reading, anyway!
