ParticipantWhat a whimpy looking jacket EJ was wearing. Couldn’t they find something a little more macho looking?
And why was Sami wearing that tablecloth around her neck. Were they going to have a picnic out there?

ParticipantI know! That jacket was awful!! Looks like something Caroline might wear!

ParticipantI thought that Sami’s jacket was too small for her!

Participanthad the signature tan, black, and red plaid as a lining for the collar, so I guess it was Burberry. Even though I’m sure it was expensive and the brand is trendy, I didn’t like it on EJ–looked a little feminine to me. And, I think Sami’s scarf needed to be looped one more time to shorten it. I did like her jacket, top, and earrings, though.

ParticipantNicole has been wearing her best club gear all over Salem for weeks. Must be a mild winter.

ParticipantCouldn’t figure what it was that just didn’t seem EJ.
That off the shoulder blouse on Nicole was less than professional but she looked great in that vivid green.

Participantby whimpy…feminine. It also looked kind of like he had his ski parka on inside out.

Participanthas to go. Hello, EJ, 1988 called and wants their collar back!
I believe it was to show off the name brand.

ParticipantI dunno if I agree with this thread.
We’re VERY used to seeing E.J. in a suit or a shirt/tie. I don’t see him wearing anything manly or rugged – that coat was very in line with how is character is written. If he’s gonna be in a coat it would be fashionable and upscale – which that coat very much was. If we saw E.J. in a big ole Northface or a Parka it would be very OUT of character for him.
I’m not sure if James Scott would wear it but E.J. certainly would.
Not an expert on fashion BUT as a gay man living in NYC I think I have a good idea of a good "look" for a personality type. I do think that the coat was not in line with the "weather" for Salem. Though that seems to be a trend.

Participantnaturally there’s going to be some comments on it; however, that being said, I thought he looked sharp, very much in-style, and, if you’re E.J. DiMera, what else would you have in your sports clothing wardrobe other than a Burberry? LOL! Actually, I wish wardrobe would include ‘casual’ E.J., more times than they do. It just seems odd to me at times to see him sitting/working around the mansion in suits and ties all of the time. Some great looking jeans and sweaters or tees would be a pleasant surprise for these eyes.

ParticipantWas Maggie’s. Somehow EJ grabbed it out of wardrobe on accident.

ParticipantIt looked far to feminine for him.
As for his always being in a suit, my husband was very much like that because he wore them every day. On weekends if he wasn’t doing anything around the house, he’d usually put on a nice pair of pants and a dress shirt with the sleeves rolled up. That was just his style. He only owned a couple pairs of jeans.
It’s probably like Chloe who was always dressed up every day. Some people just prefer it I guess.

Participantvary regarding individual tastes, to large degree at least. I would think the wardrobe department would want to define money, which the DiMeras have plenty of, so putting JS in something stylish and expensive, whether it’s to your taste or not, doesn’t surprise me.
