Stephanie and Nathan might have worked out if they went slow, developed a friendship then went deeper but the rush is what makes it disgusting.
Bo and Hope were steady with her having a "crush" on an older boy. Chloe and Brady were slow. He was a friend and was there for support. It took a while for them to figure it out even though we knew they were meant to be together. Why can’t they get back to that.
