kudo’s to him for holding on to his convicitons, so many don’t for the price of a dollar.
53tdogsParticipantuntil the mystery of the baby picture is solved…maybe a lot more clues to come. I think it’s kinda fun that the show is doing this, after all they did keep us guessing for months (tooooooo long) on the Whodunit Sydnapping…

My favorite author of all time! Her first book in the series came out in 1991 – love, Love, LOVE it!
53tdogsParticipantbetween all the characters and the last moments of Fridays show where Christmas song was playing but everyone was chatting among themselves and hugging each other was just priceless – the only people we didn’t see wishing eachother a Merry Christmas was Kate and Stephano (but maybe I glanced down then and missed them when I looked at Angry Birds on the Kindle…LOL.

53tdogsParticipantcharacters "Get a friggin’ room!"
53tdogsParticipantI enjoyed the conversations between Marlena and John (even in the silly dinner scene). Boy that Bo, he sure DOES look mighty fine in a pair of glasses! Hope and Bo are back! They are sluthing their way thru a good story line together working as a team – I love it!
Even Kayla being back had some good lines with the boys in the bar. I could even stomach Sami and Kate’s conversation, yes, they were sniping but they actually had a normal conversation about the kids, and work. Wonder of wonders – it was a Christmas miracle!
EJ and Nicole getting closer together, Stefano being the baddy! Brady and Mad were hot and it was fun with the recreation of the so-called "blizzard" (the one were there was no snow and folks weren’t dressed up like eskimos)…And Dan, Maggie, Chad, Mel, Abby, Jennifer had some good conversations and Jack (to a degree). I thought Carrie and Austin did really well as a harried couple each being too busy but still showing they loved each other very much (much to the detriment of Abby). I hope Mel gets Chad though.
Good, good shows – even with Sami woe-is-meeing and stamping her little feet about not getting the church on Christmas Eve – (although I do have one more episode to watch so I’m sure Rafe made her little hearts desire come true).
Thank you writers for a very good week at Christmas time!
53tdogsParticipantbooks (not including the Bible) on it and have 49 (so far) free (yes, I said free) books to go! I didn’t even watch t.v. much except for yesterday, DVR was getting a bit full so I caught up on almost two weeks of DOOL – pretty good shows I must say! And of course all the Charlie Brown Christmas specials, etc. So many books, so little time! Will look for the movie for sure!
53tdogsParticipantNew Year too! Hugs and love to you all!
December 22, 2011 at 6:22 pm in reply to: For the price of a stamp we can brighten our wounded warriors Christmas! #2984253tdogsParticipantthey were just brilliant. Then in 1986 I was working alone (graveyard shift), as emergency dispatcher in a huge building that normally 300 people worked in daytime….It was a quiet night, no storms, no radio traffic, all my paperwork was done, all I had to do was maintain radio/phone traffic. We had a desk drawer of books/magazines for the graveyard folks in the wee hours of the morning (along with a dedicated coffee pot) that we had to work the shift once every other week due to staff shorteges, and some clown left "It" by Steven King in the drawer. I scared myself so bad that night…I’ve never read another.
And what girlfriend didn’t break her boyfriends hand at the end of the movie Carrie gripping so hard?
53tdogsParticipantKate)…of childhood memories of Christmas and the holidays.
53tdogsParticipantwere so ingenious and before their time. The one (of many) that still haunts me 52 years after it was first aired is "Time Enough At Last"

When I retired I only wished for the health of my dogs and enough time to read all I wanted…(and good health of my friends and myself), and now I have a Kindle!!! LOL.
