How close are M&M in age? Within a year and a half it seems? When Mel first came on the scene – she was hanging around in a disco bar, Cheatin’ Heart and such – granted being raised in Europe, their drinking age is 18… So it seemed then she was just a bit older…then but then if the writer’s came up with this idea after the fact and decided to make her a bit younger for the story line – she’d be closer to Mia’s age. If Carly hadn’t seen her child since birth (or a little after), like several have said, perhaps Carly is only guessing herself. I got the feeling that the writer’s are just letting us twist and they are going to let who’s her daughter play out for a bit longer and then they’ll play who’s the daddy for awhile.

How about Mr. Dick Clark up until about two years ago still looked the same almost as he did on "Bandstand".

that since Day’s is the only soap on NBC and the story lines have been going into the tank (with the exception of the baby switch (which went on far too long) that as some of you out there have predicted it may well be the demise of the show. At first, I said to myself "Oh, no – that couldn’t ever happen" However, I am finding out from you all out there that the end of the show could just very well could happen. Especially, since as you said – high costs and lower ratings – I’m even going to try and give the writers a break and not rail at what they do to our characters (you know THAT is difficult!
)I think I would go into withdrawl (like an addict almost) if Day’s was to be cancelled like Passions, General Hospital, and the others that have been taken off the air. I went "ho-hum" when those shows did get canceled because I didn’t watch those shows and it didn’t effect/affect my show (to the fans of those shows – I apologize – now I know how you felt).
Great information on Passions SW thanks! I did catch the first five minutes of the show once or twice but the thing always with the supernatural turned me off – (yet I was enthralled when Marlena was possessed – but perhaps that was because I had years invested in her character already).

) I do know several friends who watch Passion’s and other shows and they say that those are also great shows ~ I just can’t find enough time to watch another show even with a DVR – I must be slowing up in my doddering years.
It’s very interesting to know that the other Day’s actors also have been on other shows over the years…I think it would be cool to have a cross-over story line from Day’s show to another other show (unless unbeknownst to me that it has been done before) like they do occasionally with the shows Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice.
JUST when our SL’s culminating to a head! Arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh! I suppose I could up my cable bill and get SoapNet…but darn it all the cable bill is expensive enough already – put the darn Olympic’s on late…I don’t care about it – I’ll watch the highlights of snow jumping on the news! Wonder how many people really care about bob sledding and ice dancing from opening ceremonies to closing ceremonies – not me. (And most folks have to work during the day).
You may be right, he may have had (presuming he never "left the building") work done – and hopefully, he never used either Pricilla’s plastic surgeon or Nancy Pelosi’s or Joan River’s or Michael Jacksons for that matter! Eeeeek!
I think perhaps though Elvis may have looked just that "rough" in his older days because of all the drugs and alcohol he did. That kind of life plays havoc on your body, (not to mention your mind). Maybe, he would have become more reclusive that he was the last couple of years before the end of the ’70s and we would have not had a picture or glimse of him in years.
I watched a couple of times with sound off so I could be looking for his face – I think you are correct Ms. Jake – just Bo and passion – BUT I STILL don’t like him and Carly together at all. And what was the thing when he was talking to Hope at the Pub and he called her Fancy Face – if I was her I’d tell him not to call me that ever again – too painful to be called an endearment by someone that you have spent so many years with and have him say that after just being in bed with someone else.

I thought Lucas was already gone…it was so nice (albeit under the circumstances) having him come through the door at Maggies. And he did a wonderful job at the acting with Maggie…I still can’t believe they are letting one of our all time favorites go like that. Poor Lucas – he always got the girl but never got to keep the girl, it would have been nice for them to pair him up with someone – let him find ever lasting love and then ship him off to help Billie out in England or Titan’s Paris office or what ever company he could work in so we could at least have him return in a year or so.

With you having had chemo babe – go for anything you like! You deserve it! I think Bo has a hair piece or two also – and we know that Roman does…maybe even EJ – his hair looked a bit thinner about a year or so ago. I think a lot of the ladies too have those hair clippy on thingys to make their style appear thicker and fuller. Kate with that BLUE hair side piece that has got to be a clippy on – I would think weaving that in would cost a lot of dollars every few weeks.
