Anything that makes you feel good and happy about yourself – I always rail at my genes – (you are correct – it is inherited – darn it!)  I think a lot of the actor’s on the show use hairpieces to make their hair look fuller and longer (and not just the men).  I heard that was the big rage in Hollywood hair to purchase hair pieces from India.  Sami has nice hair but darn that braid thing she did that started all of this discussion about our hair.  I do envy women with nice hair – it is a challenge especially as one gets a bit older…

This SL has disappointed us all.  Even IF the writer’s find a way to bring Hope and Bo back together again, (and I’m very sure they will – they just enjoy torturing all of us now), I hope we all will not have amnesia about this story line and let the writer’s know we absolutely did not like this in any way, shape or form.

pig like he is right now…just a few short weeks ago he was still swearing his undying love for Hope and pining away for her…I know what statistics are for men cheating in this world today but this is essentially a woman’s show (I know there are a lot of men fans) however, that being said – I think us women still even in this day and age and all that we can do – we still want a hero…Bo was always a hero – now, he’s not…I’m sad that the writer’s took away our hero.

Nora – you will love DVR.  A dear "Day’s" friend of mine (thank you Linda) convinced me to get one four years ago!  So worth it!  You never miss a show even if two shows are playing simutaniously (sp) or you can pause live t.v.  (great for dinner time and when the dog insists on going out)!  And it sure beats having to rewind the video tape a few times to hear what Vivian or Victor or Maggie said at a crucial moment in the show.

Maybe it’s hysterical laughter at your comment – GoldenDaysFan!  You hit the nail on the head!  Bo should go to the couch too!  Oh wait…he’s already been there!  Bring back Doc!

since I was 19 and I’m in mid-fifties – always colored – so agree with you on the chemicals – I have even asked my hairdresser to color it a nice silver grey like they have on their color wheel – she won’t do it…so I weave it so grey isn’t so pronounced…guess maybe I should either do what Kate does ( 17 different colors as you said) or find another hairdresser…I just couldn’t stand the in-between phase while it grew out…that would drive me crazy – I see all these beautiful grey haired women on t.v. – look at Julie on the show – she looks wonderful – IF I could do that I wouldn’t mind at all!

he is…not to mention head of Titan and other things.  Then also so has Hope (all though older) – look at all her "adventures" – Princess Gina, Larry, the cruise, Hope’s baby switch, police force off and on, Zack’s death, the affair with Patrick, etc, in her life (and that’s just the short version!)

Then what about all the things that Sami’s had happen to her (or she caused to happen to her) over her life time?  Too long to list.

Stephanie has been a college student, a race car driver, working in Titan, etc.,   And even little ol’ Melanie…with werido father, her European trash days, nursing school, in love – out of love with these two guys – I would just plain be tired at 1/10th of this stuff in my life.

believe he’s (he would be) 75 years old…makes me realize my age even more, especially as the years pass by so very quickly!  Some kind of aging process with a computer generated picture  to see what he’d look like today.  Wonder if he’d still have those sideburns?

the last couple of times Lucas was off the show – they gave some kind of explanation – burned in that fire (can’t remember the SL on that one), and the last time was rehab right?   Most of the other characters either move to England, Switzerland or Africa or even go to the "looney bin" or a cave under Stephano’s mansion but at least we "know" they are tucked away there.  So that at least knowing that the story is alluding that there is a possiblity of a return…I don’t like when the characters just diappear into thin air – not fair!  Especially the ones that we really know and have come into our homes for years and years.

sister! I don’t know why the Day’s production team couldn’t take from prior scenes from the show of the filled up church by cutting and pasting  the actors in to the scene.  At one time or another everyone in Salem has sat in the pews of the church.  Like when all of the characters used to go for a wedding or funeral or such.  Heck, you can fake anything on film these days – I’m sure someone from the editing department has that kind of talent.

All they’d have to do is get permission from the actors that have left – if they don’t already have that in the former actor’s contracts.

I really don’t care how they do it, but I want to see Steve, Kayla, Marlena, John, Mike, Carrie, Laura, Austin, Jennifer, Jack and all the rest who are still alive at the church paying their respects!  And there better be a lot of flowers.  It better not be a rushed job.  I don’t care if the show blows a three month budget – they can show reruns for a few months for all I care but this one they’d better do right by Mrs. H.!

I think Maggie conjectured about how he may have taken it off while getting ready for their trip.  As far as the comments about how many times he was gone, (especially lately – all the mentions of him working out of town and showing his picture) I just think that was away to keep his name in the SL, and now the writer’s have closed that chapter.

I’m sure Maggie will move on eventually – but then Alice never did after Tom’s passing- so maybe they will make Maggie the matriarch of the family now.

As far as moving on, after a year or so of Sean being dead – I would have thought since Victor has mellowed in his "old" age, that perhaps he and Caroline could have gotten together, but I’m afraid that Caroline is complety out of the picture now.  Plus, Vivian is clinging to Victor like a cobra.  I hope they don’t go upstairs in the pub and find Caroline the way that they did Micky.

And they better not do something like that to Mrs. H., she will have to go someday (as we all do), but the show had better do at least a week’s tribute and send off for her!

and since I read a LOT – I usually just order the books I want to read from the library…but this is something I think I’d like to have in my own reading material…so I will probably treat myself to one of these books.

Oh goodness!  I was born in Pensecola…the only white we saw on the ground were the beautiful sandy beaches!  Here in good ol’ expensive rediculously taxed California it’s 56 all week long with rain and fog – about average for this time of year…I’m not going to complain about the weather at all when I see pictures from North Dakota, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Illinois, etc.  that is a flippin’ freezer in those areas!  Stay warm Bonbon!

I read voraciously – so a book or books about "Days" will tickle my fancy – I can’t wait.  Have to go scour Amazon to see if I can pre-order!  Cool!
