and goodness knows I don’t make nearly as much as them and don’t have a hairdresser and my hair needs a touch up sometimes in three weeks time (I’m getting grey fast- which is why it’s weaved in the first place – less noticeable I hope),  I can’t afford my hairdresser every three weeks – but being t.v. personalities I would think hair color would be a tax deduction, work related expense and they wouldn’t let it get that bad.

Brady or Chole could, should, or would forgive Nicole for what she’s done to them.  Nicole has done a lot of damaging things to people, Phillip, Victor, Sami, EJ and even little Sydney (the poor child would have a repressed memory of her as Mommy in her very formative year).

I think sometimes that the writers believe that all of us have amnesia when it comes to story lines that they write or else we all have the IQ of a peeled orange.  We’ve all said time and again about the lack of contiuity in the show.  Don’t the writer’s have some kind of computer story line tracking device to say ‘oh that isn’t plausible in the story line because this or that happened in this story line?’  Or is it that they just believe that they can do anything they want at anytime?

As much as I like Nicole’s character, I would really like to see some major punishment for all the stuff she’s done over the years but especially this kidnapping – and I won’t accept a postpartum defense because she lost her own child.  But then too, with that line of justice, I would need to be calling for Victor’s, Vivian’s, EJ’s, Sami’s, Kate’s and Stephano’s heads on a platter because they’ve all been just as bad or worse.

on the weird aspects of jobs (or lack there of) in Salem – every one has a massive income with beautiful clothes and houses but doesn’t no one ever shows up at their jobs (except Arianna at the Pub – and that’s only because Caroline is MIA).  So even a brand spanking new doctor to the hospital can waltz out the door when and where she pleases.  Lexie must be taking care of all the patients.

Maybe the warf is next door to the hospital…so Carly just walked out the front door of the hospital to the warf to see Bo…I’ve come to the conclusion that every landmark in Salem is right around the corner from every landmark in Salem…and you can be 3,000 miles away in Europe in a day and back in the same 24 hours –  (which in real life in this day and age is totally possible, but really, who does that???)   Can you imagine trying to Google Map Salem???  It makes me dizzy!

…I think it will be more like six months also, however, sometimes one 24 hour day in Salem can be stretcheddddddddddddddd out for a long – long – long – endless time…so it could conceivably take a bit longer!  We all hope not!

that Carly and Justin will get together.  Watch for any length of time and eventually all the couples play "The Swap Game".

Bo and Hope will be split up by the writer’s (much to all of our protestations), because the writer’s don’t know what else to do to for a story line.

I read once that in Hollywood there are only three basis of romantic story lines in every movie: boy-sees-girl-boy-gets-girl-boy-looses-girl – repeat.

Bo and Hope’s break up will be about six months to two years for a story line and then they will be back together swearing undying love-let’s never fight again-we’ll always be together- I love you Bo- I love you Fancy Face…

one for the books too!  As much as I love my show, there are times I would not want to tell my friends who don’t watch the show what I’m watching when I think of some of the stories.    They just wouldn’t understand…

I thought about this for awhile before answering because it’s a very intricate issue and I didn’t want to have someone misunderstand what I say in a sentence or two.

IzzyB – I have to agree with you – I just see people, not color, sex, race, religion, etc., not in black, red, yellow, white, or green – just "grey" and most of us would do just that if left to our own devices.

One peeve I do have about the show is that while many the character’s may be called Catholic’s – the show, in my mind, is anti-Catholic (and other religions too) because the faith’s do not support pre-material sex, children born out of wedlock, divorce, lying, murder, kidnapping, etc., all of which are the shows premise.  I see this as anti-faith, and while I am a huge fan of the show, I would rather just hear this or that character just said they were or went to church/synagoge on Saturday/Sunday in passing.  I realize this is a dichotmy in my watching the show and liking the show with the "sin" in it and my not wishing faith to be bastardized by Hollywood.  But then too, we are all complex creatures.

I think Ari is beautiful no matter what her hair color is…I think with her being in prision for awhile, it will be difficult for her to get a bottle of Ms. Clairol until she saves up her cigarettes to trade for some blond color!

I remember them!  And then they just went away almost as quickly as they showed up!  Maybe they were really alien! ;)

I love how we all got started watching – each of us has a unique story, our moms or other family and friends were watching and got us started is my favorite – like sharing a family treasure over the years.  I wonder how many teachers ever found out how many of us skipped a class or two to run home to watch! ;)

You hit the nail on the head – he did fall for every trick and was most of the time clueless (more than Bo is right now).

I just always liked Mike.  I thought that Carrie and Mike were a much better couple than Austin, who was too much of a wimpazoid, (inspite of his prizefighting) IMHO…
