Doug (of Doug and Julie fame) was married to Marlena (as in "Doc"?) Now THAT is a shocker to me…never-ever-never heard that story before. I knew I was learning a lot about the show from you dear people…but goodness gracious me – I’m glad I was sitting down when I read your post Midwifemama!
What about Will? Since there’s going to be a "new" Will – they may give him a more in depth story line. He’s a Horton isn’t he, since Lucas took the Horton name? And then there’s Allie, perhaps – they will "age" her as well as they have done so many times before…
As far as Mr. Corday’s comment on Lucas – since I haven’t seen the article you mentioned, I’m speculating that perhaps he made the comment prior to dismissing Byran. Also, they have brought back many character’s over the years – they do have a few more Horton’s stashed away still. Laura (Horton by marriage) – escapes from the mental hospital…Bill comes back from Africa…Mike comes back from Africa (and hopefully brings Carrie with him)…Jeremy returns…hmmmmmm? It all could happen.
I am still missing Mickey for
four(forgot it was 2010 now), five years and will miss John Clark now forever – he was always the one true "Mickey". I think he got more handsome as he grew older…distinguished looking gentleman. Thanks for the wonderful memories in putting this tribute together for us all Jason.I concur! Dr. Dan looks good in any way, shape, or form, but the natural color tone he now has looks great…maybe Kate should take a lesson!
June66watcher – So true! About "T" – I said the same thing in another posting! The kid can deliver lines and should be given a shot at a more involved story line – first teenybopper I’ve seen in a long time that is totally watchable even in a short segment. While reading your post I was thinking, did they ever say a "real name" for him? Or does the "T" stand for "T"eenager? Hahahhaha – ahem…sorry.
wasn’t a flashback for me though – that was the first time I’d seen the scence – I didn’t start watching until 1991. I’d love to see that entire show…I know Maggie was paralyzed from what I’ve read on SP and other sites, but never sure why she was paralyzed. Anyone want to fill me in with why? Don’t have to go into a lot of detail but just the synopsis of the story line would be great. Thanks!

- Carly coming back onto the show is not a problem for me. I liked her when she was on the show before.
- Carly confiding in Bo not a problem for me. They have a long history together.
- Carly immediately going after Bo (and Bo’s reciprocation) and coming between Hope and Bo (dispite the other issues those two have) – BIGGY problem for me.
I’ve never cared to much for her at any point in any of the story lines…her character is bland all the time. Melanie has charisma, sparkle and that hint of mischievouness that is charming…and I didn’t like her at all when she first showed up; but she’s grown on me. Stephanie is just blah, no matter what she does, perhaps writer’s should have given her a more interesting range in her story line, despite her have been a race car driver, an administrative assistan (Titan), college student, and whatever she does at the hospital.
that when Nicole (Ari) comes back – that they will end up rehabilitating her and Nicole will be redeemed as a good person in her next SL – this is just speculation, but I just have this feeling that the writer’s will let someone else be ‘the baddy’ for awhile.
Maybe have Hope go off the deep end this time because of her stress with Bo and Carley? I’m not sure if she’s ever been the ‘bad guy’ (other than Princess Gina – and that was a entirely different "person" or so she thought). Marlena and quiet a few others over the years have done both sides of the coin…
I’m almost glad I’ve only been watching for about 19 years – I don’t think I could keep up on all the history you guys have on the show! I almost wish there was video (like they do with the prime time shows today) and be able to take a year to catch up from "Day" 1 !!!
