such a big girl when at our 6th grade Christmas pageant in school (Yes, Virginia a long, long, long time ago in schools school children use to sing Christmas carols ), wearing my first garter belt and nylons – couldn’t wear a girdle because they didn’t make ’em for kids, but later on when I got into high school (way before bra burning in 1973ish), girdles were yanked on for school and then yanked off an hour later again if you were unlucky enough to draw first period PE class (something else you young whippersnappers didn’t ever have to contend with), PE class, and those ugly PE class uniforms! Ahhhhhhhhhhh the good ol’ days…
