Will Rogers said, “If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.” I can’t see it be Heaven without dogs. I would hope that the Lord would come visit me where ever that maybe if dogs don’t get to go to Heaven and go to some doggie Heaven.

53tdogsParticipantit…but then I have not really ever cared too much for the "teen story lines"…but that’s just me.
53tdogsParticipantMy heart goes out to you and your family Manjenco – to lose a beloved – a family member (and dogs are beloved members of our extended families). A friend lost her 14 year old Dobie girl yesterday afternoon, there are no words that can console. Both mine are of geriatric, (above ten years old for dogs), and I know the day is coming that I dread more than anything. This has been on my refrigerator for at least ten years or more, I still can’t read it without tearing up but it’s there to remind me…when the time comes.
A Dog’s Plea
Treat me kindly, my beloved friend, for no heart in all the world is more grateful for kindness than the loving heart of me.
Do not break my spirit with a stick, for although I should lick your hand between blows, your patience and understanding will quickly teach me the things you would have me learn.
Speak to me often, for your voice is the world’s sweetest music, as you must know by the fierce wagging of my tail when your footsteps falls upon my waiting ear.
Please take me inside when it is cold and wet, for I am a domesticated animal, no longer accustomed to bitter elements. I ask no greater glory than the privilege of sitting at your feet beside the hearth. Keep my pan filled with fresh water, for I cannot tell you when I suffer thirst.
Feed me clean food that I may stay well, to romp and play and do your bidding, to walk by your side and stand ready, willing and able to protect you with my life, should your life be in danger.
And, my friend, when I am very old, and I no longer enjoy good health, hearing and sight, do not make heroic efforts to keep me going. I am not having any fun. Please see that my trusting life is taken gently. I shall leave this earth knowing with the last breath I draw that my fate was always safest in your hands.

53tdogsParticipantbecause our show hasn’t been on! Never thought I’d say this but thank goodness it’s Monday!
53tdogsParticipantMuch better competition!
53tdogsParticipantliberty and the pursuit of happiness, with health and long life to all your family and friends, I am very thankful for a great deal of blessings I’ve received in my life and one of these is Salem Place folks and the great conversations that we have! Every one have a great day!
Hugs and love,
53tdogsParticipantAbby going after Austin – wasn’t thinking clearly. He is way to old for Abby! I just was thinking about Chad and Mel making a cute couple. My badddddddd.
53tdogsParticipantfor pointing that out SW…I hadn’t even thought about that one in awhile, you hit the nail on the proverbial head!
53tdogsParticipantbeen no indication that Carrie and Austin are getting a divorce. Also, Abigail "obviously" liked (or wasn’t it love – did I miss where they broke up?) Chad…that was a quick turn off of that love like a light switch if so.
Another observation I had of Abigail is that she was so quickly judgemental about what her father (Jack) did wrong to her family and her mother, without letting him speak after Jack repeatedly tried to speak to her, that Abby reminds me of Sami, a little girl lacking love (although, she received it from Jennifer), and she is looking for love in any man who gives her the time of day.
53tdogsParticipantmen…???? I know she’s young and you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find Prince Charming, but some of these gals in Salem really get around!
53tdogsParticipantpants don’t have to come all the way off…so they could have…And when they replaced the scenes in black and white on yesterdays show…it was more graphic showing Sami and EJ’s faces with the emotions, to me any way than when they first showed the scene in living color…
53tdogsParticipantkey at one time, when Will stayed there. However, can’t see him just barging into a place that he does not live anymore…that was really contrived…OR can the writers actually be writing THAT far into the future to give a key to Will months ago to be used on this key (pardon the pun) story line of Sami and EJ getting it on (what else do you call it?), because Johnny was thought to have perished by a kidnapper??? These are the kinds of questions that I think up when the show is driving me bonkers with this kind of stuff…any one? Any one else?????
53tdogsParticipantalthough, Jack is older in "real" soap life…but I think Jack should as Abigail may be over 18, she is still a young girl compared to Austin.
