two years and next month the two years is up, so now they’ve offered it to me for free for another six months starting then, when I told them I didn’t want it.  The funny thing is with cable you can negotiate with them if at the end of the contract (if you are not going month to month) on price and programming, especially if you "threaten" them by saying, "Well, I think I’m going to try DISH this time…" Cable and dish for that matter, will bend over backwards to give you a good deal.  Try it.  Wouldn’t hurt to ask Bonbon.

HBO package is not something I’d normally watch or want at all, as I don’t watch the crappiola that is about 90% of what they offer and broadcast.  They only have a watchable movie (to me), only about once a month if that, but they do have some good made for HBO dramas (or whatever Game of Thrones is – fantasy).  So by next spring, when the show comes back on – I will have to find out if they have a deal on HBO or not to continue to watch the show, if not, no biggie.

In the ideal world of cable or dish, the customer could pick and choose the channels one watches all the time and pay for them…I asked both cable and dish about that and they both said it was Congress that would not allow this, because the technology is there for the consumers and companies to broadcast that way.  They both however, could not give me an answer as to why Congress will not allow this…I, for one, would like to pay for only the channels I watch and use and not get all the tacked on channels I could give a rip about and have to jump over each time when going to a channel I do watch.

Hmmmmmm…maybe I could write my Congress person and say, it is not Green to have all these extra channels I do not watch flashing up on my t.v. set, it is more ecologically friendly to only have the channels I pay for.  Congress people love that kind of stuff.

Email (this morning) that you sent last night – I’d already logged off and was happily into all my Sunday night DVR’d stuff with a box of popcorn to boot celebrating your BD!  (Heh, popcorn POP’s so it is celebratory! and champaign (sp) gives me a headache)

in the cable guide on t.v., it’s billed as a fantasy…kinda like a 12th century Soprano’s almost isn’t it?  I was shocked, just shocked I tell you when the hero (Stark), was beheaded!

Look at this one DeeLan and Bonbon, this may have more info on second season.  It says:

While no new cast members have been announced, expect the characters from the current season to return (at least the ones that make it out of the finale alive). The next season is based on the second book of A Song of Ice and Fire, A clash of Kings, and will call for dozens of new parts, large and small.

is over but you could probably look for reruns and HBO will start running first season right before second season starts next spring.  Good show – gory – but great story line, but as I said, so many twist and turns and surprises – yes, you could follow show if you just start out with second season too I think.  Might be on line on HBO’s webbie site too.

EEEEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeevon – think Eastern European accent.  Ivan was Vivian’s minion, or "servant, most known for devoted to serving his Madam relentlessly but with love (I think he truly loved her).  I thought they should have brought him back when they brought Vivy back to the show, they were always fun to watch in the good ol’ days…And he was much better than Gus anyday!  However, wouldn’t it be a hoot to see Ivan and Gus "fight" for their Madam?  Hysterical!  Pow-Pow-oooooof, sorry ol’ chap!  Kerblam! Oh, pardon my right hook!

me of some of the Diana Gabaldon books that I read.  Hated to see that warrior die, (even though he was a Genghis Khan type).  And who knew the hero (the older knight) was going to be beheaded?  THAT was a big surprise!  I hated when he killed the Dire wolf though. (Did you know that the Dire wolves really lived at one time?  I didn’t, I thought it was just a made up species, but I saw on National Geo. that they became extinct – and many of them were found in the La Brea tar pits in Los Angeles).   I hope that little pipsqueak and his evil mother get what’s coming to them!  Lot’s of twists and turns in Game of Thrones for sure – I like it!

This story will be just one more thing I will be FF’ding the show on – I will skip over it…I was only watching aboout 20 minutes of show anyway the last year what with all the ffding, so not much left in an hour to watch… sigh – and I just started DVRing it again this week after boycotting show for the last four months due to burn out of the same ol’ same ol’ diaglog and SL after 20 years.

But I’ve got to agree with you – my beliefs are what God has dictated and said, so I cannot condone the gay SL.  I don’t hate gays – to paraphrase, I’m not suppose to judge lest I be judged, however, I just choose not to participate in watching the SL.

I suppose some people will say well then why are you watching a soap at all  because of the triangles, the cheating, lies and other "sins" the characters portray, I can only say I will have to answer that to my Maker some day soon…and I do love Shakespeare too and if you’ve ever read Hamlet or his other works…now there is a soap in the making!

I liked Ryan but she wasn’t the same caliber of dancer as the others – I am really liking Melanie as front runner now.

Fox has another one coming out this fall called Terra Nova or something like that.  Everyone loves R&I’s, I mean everyone I talk to – going to have to check that one out!

it his own, and doubly hard I would think to portray "your doppleganger", even though it’s another character.  Must be fun for an actor, I’ve heard Marlena (Dee) got tired of playing Miss Goody-two-shoes all the time and enjoyed a different facet of the baddy like when she was possessed or in the slasher segments.  John (Drake) to liked playing different parts of ‘himself’.  I know I really enjoyed the SL of Colleen and Santos, it was fun seeing Sami and EJ in a different vein.

States or it’s territories should be able to profit in any way, shape or form for doing their civic duty in this case or any other.  Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his own soul?  I hope that people can live with a clear conscience by prostituting themselves for the sake of the almighty dollar.

and saw Tivo’s, dish and cable dvr’s for sale, but they were attached to the companies, guess it’s a proprietary device, which is a bummer.  I’m in California, if you live in California, every thing is priced at a premium and goes up-Up-UP every year…I think that’s why they always asked for a zip code when I purchase a national product, the first thing they asked for is zip code, and when they find out it’s starts with a 9 number KaaaaaaaaaChing! More money!
