in a brothel type mid-eastern harem the last we saw of her?  If my memory serves, (and it doesn’t a lot of the times), if so, please then writers – explain how she escaped, got out, ran away, bribed her way out…or what ever…don’t just have her show up in Salem and la-dee-da never explain her absence and how she returned.

And IS she still going to be lusting after John?

"Days" when I did not like her character because of what she did in the SL – but Eileen is a great actress.  I may even have to start watching the show again when she returns!  Thanks for the info Patti!

absent from the screen…then how do they explain all the other times the children have been "banished" for months on end?  And not just Sami’s children either…the kids on these shows are always (90% of the time) upstairs at the pub, Switzerland ski trips, seeing grandma’s, etc.

they think that they are good writers that they’d be able to weave some comic relief into their stories.  And if they are not good writers perhaps the show could hire Chuck Lore for some.

her character after 20 years, did make me stop watching the show as she never grew up.  Oh, I know, and I won’t argue with anyone that Sami has had her moments of sheer delight as a character, but if you look at the entire spectrum of her very being – I think, (without being a statistician) that a good 90% of her is spoiled little girl, whiny brat child still to this day, (in spite of all that she has been through in her life) that is in constant Never-Never-Land mode.  She was in just about every scene so I couldn’t even FF’d show anymore.  I’ve been saying this for several years now, let Samantha "Sami" Gene Brady  Reed- Walker-Roberts-DiMera-Hernandez- go to Switzerland or China or somewhere and come back a few months later "permanently changed" as a mature lady of 38 years old with four children and 70million exs, and be able to keep a job.

and room temperature before you (writers) start throwing women at Abe to see who sticks!  Now if you wirters feel the  need to start finding a man a woman, start with Roman…he’s been alone a long, long, long, looooonnnnnnnnggg time now.

you stand with her, she’s either going to like you and kill off your enemies for you or if she doesn’t like you…she’s going to make you believe in "hell".  Carrie is too much the goody two shoes angel with very broken wings yet she still thinks she is no sinner…pah on her…she’s always been this way.

as both Kristen and Susan…I can see a lot of SL’s if she did.  And some comedy relief too…goodness knows DOOL has been on a big downer of late and it’s bumming us out!  A good story has it all, drama and happiness and laughter.  With the death of Lex, and all the other characters leaving – they need to lighten up a bit and Eileen as Kristen/Susan would really put a good mix in the SL.

were still around that the writers would let them have a well-rounded and happy relationship in their marriage – they (the show) just cannot stand for anyone to be happy or a hero.

are more "real people" warts, wrinkles and all rather than overly made up perfect dollies.

then when Bobby came out of the shower (and said to Pam that it was all a dream)…don’t think I can get hooked on another show – too much going on and my DVR is full of things I thought I’d want to watch but haven’t gotten to – yet.

I think it would be great for your cancer charity Nora if the show (Dallas) did portray GIST in a realistic light to bring awarness to the public by informing us all about what you have to go through and the medical aspect of it.
