with Daniel and then Jack comes back to town…(I’ll bet he didn’t get any of the Emails or the divorce papers and doesn’t know a thing – but then I haven’t been watching)…He’ll come back to Salem all (as the saying goes) "fat, dumb and happy" and then DOOL will have their normal triangle again that they are famous for, because Jennifer will have doubts, Daniel won’t want to loose another woman, and Jack thinks all is ok in his world. I’m with you Patti, I wanted John to come back!
I never thought I would stop watching…ever. But I have. It was the begining of the end for me when J&M left, I still stuck in there for two more years; but it’s gotten to where I don’t "love" the characters anymore (a few, yes, Maggie, Bo, Hope, Victor, Nicole) but there are too many I don’t care about because they have either been "over done" with the same ol’ story line "I’m in true love! (for the fourteenth time in my life)" – i.e., Sami, or just "Mr. Evil-don’t-know-if-I-wanna-be-badddddd-or-good" EJ.
I’ve gotten so jaded after 20 something years, where I can predict what’s going to happen and what they are going to say, so I just don’t care anymore. The show holds no surprises, no- I can’t wait for tomorrow’s show, so it’s just time to catch up once in awhile.
Like Nora said to me one day, when I told her I was done with it and I quote, "about people who dont watch Days anymore, we say well let me catch you up, it’s later the same day…" Guess, what? She is correct! I can keep up with the show here on SP and only have to watch once in a great while and still know what’s going on. If John Black comes back though, somebody put it in big capital letters three times in several different posts and I’ll be back glued to my t.v. set.
since the first season, and the only reason I watched is because a great friend of mine said "Oh you have to watch and see how it’s played (and there wasn’t anything I watch on t.v. those two nights anyway).
So I stuck with it and disliked Rob since the first time he opened his mouth. I cannot believe they didn’t vote out that dweeb Phillip when he first opened his mouth. I kept thinking this is where Bugs Bunny would say, "What a maroooooooon!"
As far as I’m concerned non of the finale three should have been there, especially, (and I didn’t know this until last night) that Rob married a Survivor winner…sure people fall in love, but as manipulative as that b_st_ard was/is – I wonder if it was "love". Much rather would have seen Mike (who fought for our country), or Julie, the firefighter who was loosing her home, or Matt, who is becoming a doctor get it than someone like Rob. Well, count me out for next season that was enough to last me another ten seasons.
PMShow…Like I mentioned before when they did this, if we have to sit through product placement during the show, then they can make our show longer than the 22 minutes of actual acting by cutting the regular eight minutes of commercials…
would make me watch the show big time again with my beloved John back! Be still my heart! It’s been two months now almost and all I’ve done is FF through a few of the highlights and keep up here with what’s going on(EJ/Nicole(not Taylor – still don’t care for her – she will never be a character I can get into. And the little bits of the Rafe/Rafe2/Sami as well) the rest I don’t care about…but John coming back…I’d be glued to the t.v. set.
remember what Robboy did to them and give it (not the money) back to him in the end…those girls were mindless twits the entire way through (and I thought Phillip was a dunce)…better watch it Rob, what goes around comes around. I’d love for Matt to stick it out on RI and come back and pound Rob into toast crumbs too!
I was sure betting that James would be AI with Scotty and Haley in first and second runner up place…could have knocked me over with a feather! Come on Scotty!
your usual perception of the show is always spot-on. Didn’t care for Ava (actress) when she was on before and as for her playing Taylor – I knew that was going to be a mistake (even if the acting is better) – she doesn’t look like a younger sister of Nicole or act like it…I hope Nicky off’s Taylor in a fit of revenge and rage and then hog-ties EJ with his you-know-what’s!
out in the long run…what makes me mad is as you all said, that not only is the ink not dry on some of these divorce papers, heck, the wedding vows have barely floated out of the church (or bar area) before these folks are already picking their next partner…Chloe and Daniel, Mel and Phillip, EJ and Nicole, etc., that’s why I got tired of watching it…same ol’, same ol’…Now I just keep up with what you guysies are saying about the show or on the spoiler sites or from Emails from friends…Even just FF’ding wasn’t working for me anymore – I was ending up FF’ding through 80 to 90% of the show, and after being a #1 die-hard fan for every day of Days for the last twenty years…I just said, that’s it, I can’t take it anymore. I did catch last week a few seconds of Nicole finding about EJ and new Taylor – I hope that Nicky doesn’t just get mad, I hope that she gets sweet revenge and as Nora mentioned to me "opens up a can of whoop-a_ _ on them, a BIG can of whoop-a_ _. You know me, I was a biggie EJ fan, but bleah on his 9millionth fall in for-ever love…SNAKE! Snake, SNAKE! Get ’em Nicole!
anyONE takes out that snake Rob. Mike, Steve, etc., any one of them, just get Rob! How dumb are these "little girls" that keep kow-towing to the "almighty Rob" – he is such a dweeb. Andrea will be first, and then I want to see the rest of these little air heads slobber all over Rob when it comes their turn. I can only hope that Rob flubs a challenge.
As for Phillips shorties, even if someone (on the show) did tell him where his shorts were buried, I’ve got to thank them for telling him, I mean come on…did we really want to watch his pink undies and whatever else was lurking in them for the rest of the days on they are on the island? Yeeeeeeeeeeeech!
Be who you are and say what you mean…because those that matter…don’t mind…and those that mind..don’t matter.
