are. She is undisiplined, narcissisitic and immature, given her histrionics. When Sami does not get her way she acts like a very spoiled three year old. I’ve seen more adult contemplation in their actions in the characters of Ally and Johnny than their mother. It is one of my most peevy-peeves about the character of Sami is that the writers, in spite of having four children to raise, with several "adult" style relationships in her life, they refulse to let this character progress from a 15 year old girl to a mature, caring and thoughtful woman of 36. Corday and writers – let Sami grow up!
like your idea Luckey, they are all of a sudden making her a computer wizard…the only one in the entire Salem PD that can fix a computer glitch…what Salem PD can’t afford an IT department? They are going to let someone who is banned from being a police officer work on sensitive criminal information on a PD computer in a police department? (When she sat on Bo’s lap (basically) and brought up the information for someone he was looking for). That would be like us walking into our local PD and saying we can work on your computer problems…the silliness of the writers at times, drives me up the wall.

with Gabby. The show did a story on "who was her real child?" Gave Gabby a breakdown and all. And it’s happened in the news too – what a conundrum for your scenario to play out JustWondering – although baby Grace’s story was moving and a tear jerker. I think your SL would have been much more interesting for Sami and Nicole, even if it didn’t carry out quite ten years…as the show tends to age children so fast. At five years old, that would have been great as Johnny and Ally are four now (based on last BD’s).
And what-What-WHAT was the point of Johnny loosing his eye? I’m still wondering about that one…other than what they did with R2 and Johnny on Friday’s show…
a real stinker bad guy too, but Victor has changed for the better I think, but then I always enjoyed watching him. Stefano has always been a favorite of mine, even when he was the meaner of the meanies – there will always have to have a bad guy to give the Salemites fits, I would rather have it be Stefano and EJ than Victor.
16 week or less season, so I can see where it is difficult for the writers to write SL’s for a show that is continuous and somewhat cohesive – I’ve sat through a lot of stinkers in just 20 years so I can see what you are saying, having watched as long as you have. I think, as you mentioned about the internet/spoilers, that we are an entire different audience now-a-days as we are an instant gratification society. All I can say for the sloooooooooooooow moving SL’s is thank goodness for FF’ding and DVRs!!!

I’d like Hope and Jennifer (as someone mentioned) to start an investigation PI service with Sami finally getting a clue and hiring the ladies. Hope will call in Bo, Bo will arrest anything that begins with a D in their last name in Salem, and Justin (now that he’s got his personal life back together) prosecute them and Adrienne will have drinks on the house at the Cheatin’ Heart for everyone after the trial, then Chad takes over the DiMera empire, marries Abby, and then the stories start all over again. Now that is my idea of fun.
