Bonbon, just pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeze end this R2 debacle now! I’d accept a coup de grace ending willingly, even a repeat of the Dallas shower scene!!!!! Goodness knows we have all put up with a heck of a lot more over the years!
just let Jay leave and let Phillip go away, if Jay doesn’t get a gig else where that is lucrative then by all means bring Phillip back!!! We’d all welcome him with open arms (literally and figeratively – hahahahhaha!)

show on this board – that is for sure! We may get rip-roaring angry at what the writer’s write (again and again) and how the actors act, but we still don’t trash and bash. And there is a lot of history that can be learned about our show here too.

Wonder if Lexie, (in off camera moment) told Chad when they were getting chummy as brother and sister about the DeMansion’s tunnels? After all wasn’t Lexie stuck in them for quite awhile a few years back or was that some other DiMera cave? Yeahhhhhhhhhh!!! Maggie and Victor progressing in their relationship! That’s great. Especially, if Maggie keeps Victor on the straight and narrow and doesn’t let him "bury" Brady. Where’s Vivi in all this? Is she done in Salem? Has she given up on Victor and "her revenge" plots finally and forever?

that one Patti (evil genius)…Please don’t do that one writers. To me that would be on the same low level as when they paired up Daniel and Chelsa. Bleah! Not that Brady is as old as Daniel but he’s just more of a ‘family’ relationship with Mel and I’d hate to see those two "hook up", I’m already FF’ding through about 1/2 of the week’s worth of show as it is now.
Besides, as they do for all women in the show, they must pair them with a guy immediately instead of letting them stand on their own two feet. Granted, not sure what else Melanie is good at other than arm candy…well…it’s true!!! I’m not saying anything that hasn’t been shown for the last three years or so that she’s been on the show. Let alone with the stint of her "nursing" career (that was fast-tracked in three seconds flat), what else has she done besides be with, chase, or catch a guy?
I like the character of Melanie now, (at first when she first came on – back in France and first few months of the show in Salem, I didn’t like her at all). And she still has days that I cannot stand to watch her, but she has come around, she just needs a life of her own. I’m tired of these women of Salem not being able to stand on their own two feet. Maggie is a rarity. Who else in Salem, is self supporting, works, and is a put together woman who doesn’t plot and plan? Since Marlena left Salem, Maggie is the only one, (I’m talking major characters).
usual), from reading what you wrote on the interwoven, complex intricacies of the Salem collective…and as I usually rail against new characters, I may change my stance. I would like Brady to find someone someday. I’d like Roman to as well, (he’s been alone for a very long time). Perhaps, as some of you have indicated – some new blood is warranted, otherwise the next few generations of Salemites are going to look like two-headed purple pokadoted people eaters with all the cousins marrying cousins even if twice or thrice removed!
Please though, NO more triangles for at least a year…those I am sick of. They can’t even let couples get down the aisle (M&P and E&N), have a baby (C&D), and others before they break them up. No more triangles, quads, or anything for a while, come up with something new writers!
characterize Mel, she always, in almost every scene that she has ever been in looks and acts the same way. Mel always looks like she is about ready to cry, gets that pouty mouth, with her mouth all twisted up. Seriously, go back (if you’ve save the tape or YouTube it) and look at most of her scenes. All the way back to when she was in France.
