I’m surprised we don’t have a new character written in every week day Monday through Friday – with all the unemployed actors in Hollyweird and the economy the way it is ~ new character’s are one thing to move a story along sort of like Rafe with Sami safehouse SL started. I have no "investment" in these newbies – so I could care less if they get hit by a Salem outbound bus. And it seems to me a lot of our old favorites are on that bus – I want them to use our beloved characters more. Maybe, I am still holding (heck, no maybe, I am) holding a grudge against the PTB and writers that took my beloved John and Marlena away forever.
I haven’t seen today’s episode yet, but she was one annyoing (w)itch!!! Like fingernails on a chalkboard! Yeeeeech! I’d rather have Jan back…(no, NO, NOT!)
And have even have a better chance of being struck by lightning! It’s one of those irrational fears that even though I snorkel, used to ablone dive and such, it still gives me pause for just about ten seconds. Even pools. Yes, even pools. My parents had their pool remodeled and went with a dark bottom pool – I still thought of it when I used their pool. Just when I first get into the water, the thought fleetingly just pops into my head…then I get over it. But it’s so unreasonable since I saw that movie 36 years ago and still think of it. It’s like the monster under the bed or in the closet when you are a little kid…which is why I don’t watch the scary movies… I suppose Stefano should scare me more with all of his shinanigans! LOL!
him/her – so expressive and CUTE! That smile is just so precious! Reminds me of baby Sydney. The little girl who plays Sydney now is totally devoid of emotion and seems scared out of her wits now. If Sydney is going to be a main character in the future I hope they switch actresses in the next few months.
first scene – whereas Taylor is just brought back to take EJ away from Nicole…that’s perhaps why we (at least I), can accept Abby more so than Taylor. And just as this Taylor is growing on me – they are going to switch the actress (with someone that I didn’t ever care to watch when she was on before)…so the Taylor thing is pretty much going to be a FF’d for me in the future.
characters all the time? Develop the SL for the folks they have now and only introduce one or so newbies a year! So far this year we’ve got Jen’s kid, Taylor (x2), and this guy and this is only the begining of March for goodness sake!
Are the writer’s bored with our favorites? Grow Sami up! Grow Mel up! Get rid of Rafe.2 Don’t know what to do with Dan and Chloe anymore? Or since Nathan may be (?) gone awhile, do they feel that they have to fill a void? Jen just got back – get her involved with a new story. Hope is kinda just out there now in limbo now that she’s been freed. Lexie has been very nice to see on the screen more and she is a great actress – give her more of an involved story. Bring Anna back. Give Roman more of a SL. Maggie and Victor? Vivian???
in what 1975? I was born in Florida, spent a lot of time in Italy on the Mediterranean Sea, been to Maui several times and I live in California – "Jaws" ruined the all the oceans for me because I can’t dunk my tooties in the water without thinking of it about it at first. Even if Stefano was in the movie and took care of all the sharks in the water – I’d still have that hesitation before diving in…
charater such as Chloe, but she is fictional and can be written in a story line to redeem her character. With some real people like Mr. Sheen, you just can’t fix stupidity.
highest paid gig on t.v.? If he’s an actor – well, I think then the network is desperate. I’ve never watched the show, but seen snippets of it on commercials – it seems like it’s the same old vulgar joke over and over again – I would guess that the show caters to the audience of 14 year old boys, that like seeing big knockers jiggle on the screen and fantasize or maybe the show’s audience is the forty six year old Peter Pan men like Sheen who never grew up?
and get a good relationship with a woman because he’s had a lot of bad experiences with ladies in the past, (Chloe and, Nicole,) and he’s a nice guy (with the exception of how they are writing him now stealing Titan from his granddad). I’d hate for him to end up like Roman and not have anyone ever. Unfortunately, as DaysFanForever indicated…Taylor is not going to be "the one and only for him" since we know what’s going to happen with her already.
not even in the same universe – I tried to avoid his interviews that he gave but he was on all channels. I hope he gets some help – preferably before he takes someone else down the same path or worse. And I think his father was totally wrong in saying it was the same thing as a cancer – he’s the one slamming coke and whatever else up his nose, no one I know who has/had cancer ever chose it willingly.
ones anyway…who does this kind of stuff? I guess writers get their inspiration and stories from "real" life (or so I’ve heard), but if that’s true, the writers aren’t living in the real world.
Seems like every week there’s something ~ somebody somewhere is getting involved with someone else!
