and they hurt for quite awhile afterwards! Don’t you wish Bonbon that you’d had your surgery in Salem – you could have been doing jumping-jacks a week or so afterwards!!!  Salem water has more miraculous healing power than the Lordes holy water in France it seems.

for the explanation of the phone call.  Not that Roman has much more of a clue than the "What’da-hell?" kind of SL they’ve been giving him for years now.

bit as cute, sweet and cuddly as the darlin’ little Gerber baby (as I call him/ her) Parker…(he/she just makes me smile) but the little girl now playing Sydney is no little Shirley Temple in spite of her curls or actress for that matter and shows little personality at all – she looks scared to death 99 % of the time.  Not the kids fault, but time to switch actresses again and get a different set of twins for Sydney’s part – since so much of the story line does at times revolve around Sydney – this little actress is distracting to the SL.

was painted on her – (she looked great in the dress) but what woman gets "the vapors" (like they called it in the Victorian era) over a guy and faints?  GMAFriggin’B!!!

I thought it was very apripo to have this particular wedding so near the bar area (and I laughed my a- – off at what Katie said to the bartender about being MVP) – all those people at the Kiriakis and DeMansion drink like fishes!  Did you see EJ knocking them back before they left for the wedding?  I’m surprised he could tell the difference between Nicole and Taylor – or wasn’t seeing them in triplicate!  LOL!

conversation about the "wrong" prescription and they were speculating if he should have given her an alternative medication.  A practicing doctor knows what he is giving his patient, they look it up or have used the medication before and know what it does.  Otherwise, the doctor would be calling his attorney lickty-split and his malpractice insurance company!!!

see the perks state, city, county, etc., get…I never joined the union but I still had to pay them $50+ bucks (fair share) or so a month for 30 years to work in my career field.  I’ve railed about the costs to the taxpayers years and years…because our taxes here are unbelievable in this state, when we sink into the ocean – it won’t be because of an earthquake, it will be because of our tax burden.

It’s a "different" kind of fur.  And no, I’m not opposed to eating what we eat, or wear, it’s just the fur trade bothers me ever since I saw what they do to dogs and cats in China and pass it off as fur.  A lot of it was sent here – they’ve curtailed it some what being imported here but in other countries that don’t have our standards, Europe, South America, they don’t have any restrictions on it.  (And no, PETA people are not the angels they portray themselves to be – they are nutso and marked by deliberate deceptiveness in their dealings.

not bashing state workers in my post below, just saying it like it is.  I did personnel work so have seen it all with the employee’s pay in my state at least (and what the taxpayers pay for these wages).  I knew one employee who paid for a sail boat with their over time in two snow seasons (winter) – and we aren’t talking a dingy – we’re talking a Fancy Face.   And I have an ultimate respect for police, CHP and firefigters – they of all people should have the time off and higher wages.  And night shift gets even more $$$ than day shift BTW.  Graveyard and even swing shift is difficult to deal with even at a younger age, especially with a high stress job like an officer of the law.  I’m sure Ali’s husband does spend a lot of time with their children.

depending on how long he is on the force (after 1 year) you can accumualte 640 cap* hours of ALP (personal and SL leave combined to take anyway you want to), including plus 12 holidays, plus state sanctioned days off.

If he was hired before 2000, he could accumulate, 640 cap total hours of vacation and (8 hours a month) – unlimited sick leave (so say a career of about 20 years could net you 2,000+ of paid SL), plus 12 holidays, plus state sanctioned days off (personal holidays, etc.)…all of which is full pay and benefits (*Cap hours that isn’t the max you can have but the amount you have to rollover to the next year, you can get a total of say for example only 890 hours vacation, but Jan. 1, you are suppose to have it back down to the 640 cap number but some don’t – so they have a 1,000 hours of vacation/annual leave time accumulated and figure a salary of  $33 per hour X that is $11Kish they are suppose to "cash out"!

Just a nice little Christmas bonus from the taxpayers eh??? every single year!!!!  –  and you wonder why the Golden state (and all these other states) are going to need federal taxpayer bailout money from out of your pocket!??!!!

kind of been "tra-la-la".  Ghoul Girl was her strongest story line to date until this story, mostly, she was just flitting from man-to-man-to-man since those days.  Like you said Casey, the writers could really make this a great platform if they would do some research and really make this a memorable story line about post-partum that we could talk about for years to come, but unfortunately they aren’t looking to win any Pulitzer Prizes or great novel, seems like they don’t think we’d all love a deep story line that really has something to sink our teeth into.  Alas, just more soap drivel, I’m afraid.

abilty much more now seeing her take her role seriously instead of being in model mode all the time.  A few years back Hope was sick in the show and she went without make up and it made the scene so much more believable.  True actresses don’t rely on the outside but their acting ability.  Even Sami has worn minimal makeup before when a scene called for her to be stressed or ill.  These are all beautiful and talented actresses.
