Just curious – I went to bed before it was over, figuring Nicole and Derek would win. My question, though, did Kate Gosselin do any better dancing than before?
annieoParticipantIt’s not only Melanie that’s repetitive. The EJ/Sami storyline is getting on my last nerve as well. How many children are living in two homes because of custody agreements after a divorce? It’s not a good situation – I think it’s too easy to get a divorce these days instead of working toward a solution – but staying in the same house "because of the children" is such a dumb storyline. We all know it’s to get EJ and Sami together. I don’t even watch except maybe once a week. It’s like every day it’s the same stuff. I’d rather read Prevuze to know what happens. It makes me wonder why any of us watch it – it’s a bad habit that’s gone on for years and even though we know it’s bad, we can’t break it!
annieoParticipantWhat we didn’t find out was whether the shooter committed suicide or whether the SWAT team shot him. All we heard was the shot.
annieoParticipantI knew it was going to be viewer discretion but I was really shocked at just how many went down. I try to keep this in perspective by telling myself it’s a tv show and that some actors/actresses want out of their contracts, but wow, it was still really scary. Miranda (don’t know her real name) was fabulous when he pulled her out from under the bed. The actress who told everything about herself to the shooter was excellent, Alex when he said "eat more bacon and have more sex" was classic. In fact, everyone was pretty fabulous – that episode deserves some award for writing and acting.
annieoParticipantDon’t forget The Middle which is right before Modern Family. I tried watching Cougar Town but just didn’t care for it. The one actress who used to be on Drew Carey and later on Scrubs is on there. She must have had plastic surgery on her nose or lips because I can’t get past how bad she looks. The little bit I watched seemed to be mainly about an older woman going after the younger guys for sex. Maybe it’s improved since, but I lost interest. The Middle, on the other hand, and Modern Family can be downright hilarious. Love the kids in The Middle. I never like the father in Modern Family when he played Ed Bundy but think he’s great in this show.
annieoParticipantannieoParticipantThey had to leave it in the box so as to not mix it up with the Alka Seltzer box. The men will get to use that product placement next week. LOL
annieoParticipantShe didn’t seem to have a body image problem when she jumped in bed with EJ – why should she mind that he see her in a swimsuit now?
annieoParticipantYes! Another person finally notices the rapid eye movement! It’s the little things that distract me.
annieoParticipantI took a low-dose Ambien last night after not sleeping for several nights. I wonder what "Night Annieo" did? I hope I had fun, because day Annieo is pretty stiff from sanding the front hallway floor!
annieoParticipantI thought her acting seemed uncomfortable with Anna, but I attributed it to the fact that Rafe had her all wired up and basically backed into a corner because of her tax problems. She’s not happy ratting out a friend, therefore the "bit stiff" acting – she wasn’t quite sure how to get all the answers from Anna.
annieoParticipantI really enjoyed the cha-cha groups. It amazes me how they can pull these things together in such a small period of time. What is anyone’s opinion of the new co-hostesses? I’m not sure I care for her. She seems to ask the most obvious questions – like "you both just received a score of 5. How do you feel about it?" What are they supposed to answer "Oh, I’m so thrilled." Do you suppose she makes this up on her own or is it being written for her? They just seem like dumb questions.
annieoParticipantCoffee and a freshly baked brownie.
annieoParticipantAmen to that last comment!
annieoParticipantI just watched that portion of the show and I thought it looked like the little actor playing Johnny was smiling way too much for the tantrum he was throwing – like the directors were making a game out of it so he would do the bit correctly. It was like OK, now it’s time to yell "I Want My Daddy!" because he’d grin and say his part. I really didn’t think the scenes looked realistic at all, especially when the doorbell rang and he told his mom to get the door – actually I think that was totally unexpected from him and Sami played along because she was smiling as she went to the door. If she was upset about his trantrum she definitely would not have been smiling when she went to the door and Johnny would have ignored the door and keep up the tantrum. I think he knew what was going to happen next and was anticipating it.
