I tried to look it up and got various answers. That’s why I posed the question here. And who knows why she would say she wasn’t pregnant and is? They’ve done all this hype to end the story with this? It just seemed anti-climatic to the way the writers usually write their stories. Of course, if she isn’t I’m glad of that.
annieoParticipantMaybe they’re just trying to make us think of the characters with a life outside of work, scheming, angst about relationships, etc. After all, there are 24 hours in a day, we have to think they do something during the time off screen. But wouldn’t it be refreshing to see a short scene of an evening with the book club members enjoying themselves together and having real refreshments (not empty coffee cups and pretend drinking). Just don’t let the Prosecutor or Anne from the hospital be a member. That would be really be taking it out of the realm of reality – if there is such a thing on soaps.
annieoParticipantI think it was in one of the previews of what’s happening this season that shows Tim actually using his "Tim Gunn save." Until then, we get to hear his silly announcement "I’m choosing not to use my Tim Gunn save because this time I agree with the judges." We kinda figured that out already Tim.
The red sombrero dress was fabulous. I was only half-watching the whole show and I regret that I didn’t watch it more carefully because I would have liked to see how they put it together. The runner up was cute too if you were a teenager, although Heide wanted it.
I still like the Australian guy but so far he’s always just been safe. His looks are always well polished. Justin, the deaf designer, has good taste so he’ll probably be safe alot but never a winner. I was worried last night when he was paired with pale-faced Alexander because I question his (Alexander’s) taste in design . Sandro, yikes, he does like to steal the limelight doesn’t he? – he and Sami Brady should be in a scene together – who could be more theatrical? So they’ll keep him on for entertainment now that they couldn’t think of a reason to keep Timothy any longer. And thank heavens he’s finally gone. All that unicorn crap, bawling, and "I’m the only designer who EVER got a letter from his model." Gad, I wanted to puke. I look for Miranda or Alexander to go next.
There are some really good designers this year. I like the format that the judges can see the construction up close because making the clothes is just as important as designing it.
annieoParticipantYes, she is a really good actress, but this storyline is also beginning to drive me up a wall, and I only watch once a week, if that. It’s ridiculous that someone could hold a grudge for so long and be that evil about it. We have some things going on in our lives currently that have left me quite angry and upset and my husband tells me, let it go, that’s the way it’s going to be. My reply is "I understand that, just let me rant for a few days to get it out of my system, and then I’ll move on." I never understand the need for soap opera characters to go after a man (or woman) who clearly is in love with someone else (e.g. John/Marlena). And why she thinks Brady would take her back after all the plotting and ridiculous antics? But of course, they have to at least try to make us think they are going down that road again. Silly me, it’s a soap. Sami took back EJ. So why shouldn’t Kristen get Brady back? I guess I answered my own question!
annieoParticipantJustin, Will & Sonny were definitely the best in the acting category today. Will and Sonny are just so natural in their acting abilities and look very comfortable together. Poor Adrienne. But I really like that Justin defended her to EJ "if you ever……
annieoParticipantI guess "Sustainability dude" thought since he wasn’t allowing his model to wear shoes, he’d wear them for her. She looked about ready to cry when he was taking her through all those moves. I’m glad she pretty much defied him on the runway and only did one move. Frankly, she was one of the more attractive models. Sometimes I think the only reason they are models is because they are so skinny. Many are not that attractive until they get all made up. She had a nice face. I read on another site that they are probably keeping him on for the entertainment factor. I hope they get their laughs and move him on and out. I really thought the deaf designers dress was cute as well as the Australian designers pants. I also watched the "pre-game" show and the deaf designers clothes (can’t remember his name) were quite attractive. In fact, most of them looked pretty impressive in the pre-game.
I also read the reason Kate was given a second chance was because one of the designers chosen for this season punched a camera man and walked out.
As far as the Russian designer, the comment on another website said: I think Sandro was kept around because of the
extra large "spool of thread" he has in his pocket…hard to miss.
annieoParticipantThey passed her into the safe category and she I think she had a lot of white in her dress. Wasn’t it black white and material both that they were given to use for a small amount but then 85% had to be the parachute? I thought the judges seemed unclear on the rule – Heidi was the only one who jumped on it for too much black.
annieoParticipantLast week they had her looking like a teenager in her too young pink dress and Farah Fawcett hair. This week she looks like she could be Morticia’s sister on the Adams Family. Hair and lipstick – Ghastly. It definitely made her look older. Wardrobe must have picked black and white for the colors this week. Sami, Nicole, and someone else (Maggie?) all had on black and white today (Wed).
annieoParticipantOur electricity has been off almost 24 hours and I just read yesterday and today’s show summaries. I didn’t even watch and my blood was boiling about Sami’s antics with Rafe. Give it a rest. I’m not a huge Sami fan anyway, but this is ridiculous. She absolutely has no control about anything or anyone. And altho I thought the pink dress was a nice color for her, the style looked like it belonged on Gabi, not Ari’s grandma.
annieoParticipantBecause they said last week the baby was 3 weeks old. And Since Gabi is so young, she, of course, bounced back very quickly. However, I think after watching yesterday, she’s not all that excited about motherhood, judging from how angry she was that neither Sonny or Will were back to watch the baby because she had an appointment. Which, of course turned out to be Nick. I’m sure he would have been understanding because she was a tad bit late. Why didn’t she just take the baby with her? She also seemed very irritated that the baby was crying. So where is this going? I really like Will and Sonny. They act very natural together. Don’t screw it up writers!
annieoParticipantI almost gagged watching the scene at the Horton Town Square today. The scenes were so ridiculous and horribly acted by one and all. Then Jen’s defense of JJ at the police dept. added to my disgust. To top it off, we have to add Ann and her "oh didn’t you hear" to the list. She’s about as juvenile as JJ and his gang. Couldn’t stand any of it.
annieoParticipantRoman told his wife. Shouldn’t that have been Kayla’s job?
annieoParticipantExcept you explained it much better! I also thought Bernardi looked too old to be this woman’s husband and father to such a young child. I guess we were supposed to think Godfather movie, mafia men, loving fathers.

annieoParticipantWhen did Zoe appear? I thought I just saw a commercial for Will coming home. I always forget to watch, even though I really enjoy it when I do see it. Jen is just so tiny. I saw one episode when a baby monitor went off in the hospital and she really hustled to get there, but her legs aren’t long enough and she’s not built to run. Guess I’ll have to look this all up online.
